Great Muni
Lush fairways, fast and pure greens, tee boxes in good shape, walkable, friendly and helpful starters, can’t wait to play it again
Pace
Pace of play was very slow, should’ve had a ranger out there to have those slow groups move along. Aside from that great course, great staff.
Do not golf here !!!
If you like fairways covered with dirt patches everywhere this course is for you. If you like to be overcharged ($70 for a weekday) for a course with poor conditions this course is for you. If you like 5 plus hours (today mine was 5 hours, 19 minutes) then this course is for you. Do yourself a big favor and find another course to play at
Terrible
I booked 18 holes in golfnow, and the price was 25. When I arrived at they said that could only play 9 holes. The reason is that they only open 9 holes, and there is no apology. The charge standard is $25.
Don’t book
Randomly close half the course and don’t allow you to play all 18 and GolfNow won’t properly refund you
Staff incredibly rude.
Booked 18 holes on GolfNow. Back 9 shut down due to weather. Staff shouted at me when I tried to explain that I booked 18 on the app. Extremely rude and unprofessional. I do like this course but I don’t think I’ll go back bc of the extremely rude staff.
Dissapointed with Golf Now !!!!
I had booked a tee time at Braintree Municipal Golf course thru this site for today Saturday at 2:40 pm and when i arrived the course was CLOSED due to FLOODING! I should have been notified by Golf Now or the course!!! I drove close to 1 hr to get to Braintree. This should not have happened!!!
Disappointed
I have played at Braintree multiple times over last couple of years , first time this year. I was shocked on how bad the fairways and the greens were . It looks like with all the rain we have had definitely took a tolll on the course. Not sure how this can recover quickly. . This course has always been one of the top courses in this area. I will be back but not this year. To much damage..

The course had a lot of rain lately still recovering from wet conditions. The the boxes and greens in great shape, some of the fairways still recovering but overall not too bad.

Swampy 5 hour round
Picked this course after seeing a lot positive reveiws. I know it’s rained a good amount the last couple of weeks but not one hole was properly drained. Every surface was soaked. A player in my group lost a ball in a lake on the fairway. Pace of play was abysmal. Five hours on the dot. Starter combined groups and sent his cronies ahead of us. Greens were different on every hole
