Braintree Municipal Golf Course

I have played at Braintree multiple times over last couple of years , first time this year. I was shocked on how bad the fairways and the greens were . It looks like with all the rain we have had definitely took a tolll on the course. Not sure how this can recover quickly. . This course has always been one of the top courses in this area. I will be back but not this year. To much damage..

The course had a lot of rain lately still recovering from wet conditions. The the boxes and greens in great shape, some of the fairways still recovering but overall not too bad.

The green speed is fast,

and fairway is beautiful~

Picked this course after seeing a lot positive reveiws. I know it’s rained a good amount the last couple of weeks but not one hole was properly drained. Every surface was soaked. A player in my group lost a ball in a lake on the fairway. Pace of play was abysmal. Five hours on the dot. Starter combined groups and sent his cronies ahead of us. Greens were different on every hole

The only good thing it’s the practice putting green.

I called to confirm my tee time and they informed me 9 holes were closed and I could only play 9. I signed up for 18 and had to change courses. No one from the course or golf now called me to let me know there was a change to the course.

Great staff and the course was well kept. You really cannot beat the value especially if you play early.

First time playing this course. I found it to be in great shape. I enjoyed the round. Staff was friendly. I will be back to play this course in the future.

Staff is always super nice, great price and always in great shape. The greens are always true, and it is a great course to walk! Some water can get you in trouble- but not much to complain about!
