Wahconah Country Club

My first time playing Waconah CC after having trying to get on over the past few years. Was pleasantly surprised that the course was such a pleasure to play. No two holes are alike and while the fairways are wide open each hole presented a challenge. The course was in great shape. The greens are large and offer many opportunities to score on. I give Waconah 5 stars. And certainly hope to play again when I am in the area.

Course was in great condition considering all the rain and being so early in the season

This one the top courses in the Berkshires. The conditions are great, as is the layout. This my personal favorite.

The day we played was 40 degrees , rainy and cold which made the playing conditions very difficult. The actual layout is very interesting, their is a good variety of holes and it was picturesque. Driving areas were not too tight but the difficulty in this golf course is in the greens. I have only played here once but the greens were hard and very fast. When you add the undulations, putting was very difficult. Getting up and down if you short side yourself was extremely difficult. The only complaint I have is that is with the womens tee or really the lack of women tees. They just dropped markers down where the fairway started, there we not any actually tee boxes. Many times they were set up on a hill. For such a well designed course, to have the women tees set up by dropping the markers on the fairway was disappointing for my playing partner. If they did put them back with the golds, it would have been too long. I would hope they would build some tee boxes for the women.

Really well-designed course! And the greens were immaculate.

Booked on golf now thought I was paying 49 for each of us. Found out it did not include $20 for the cart. And my wife and I in one car had to pay $20 each. Not right

Greens are glass. Great to play over and over again. the perfect course to walk. You’ll use ever club in the bag and the dining is great too. If you play here and you are local, you’re most likely become a member.... great course!

Course is in terrific condition, up here vacationing in Berkshires & played it twice.

It was my first time golfing in the Berkshires and I have heard good things about this course. Let me tell you it was stunning and came back to condo and booked another round at this course for our last round before we leave. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Lunch on the patio was terrific! The course was beautiful and in great shape! Layout was great and our pace of play, on the front 9 was incredible (1:40 for the 2 of us!). Then we got to #10. Uggghhh. There were 2 groups waiting to tee-off for what seemed like forever! Where's the starter, or course ranger? My wife and I decided to jump back to #1 (it was already 5 pm and was quiet on the front), and played nos. 1 - 9 over again for the 18. No big deal, just a recommendation for improvement on the traffic aspect. Otherwise, there's no doubt Sherry and I will return to Wahconah!

Lovely course in excellent condition. Tee boxes, fairways and greens all in very good order, bunkers were raked and hazards marked. Nice easy to follow layout, and a good variety of holes.

Friendly staff and the members that we encountered were all friendly.

Had a great morning golfing and a nice good value lunch in the clubhouse afterwards.

Would play this one again if I was in the area.

Not the most challenging course. A hole or two that is awkwardly designed to make you climb a “mountain” to get to the elevated green, but beautiful mountain scenery and well maintained tee boxes, fairways, greens etc.

First time there, Course layout and condition were outstanding. Greens were in great shape and fairly quick.

Plenty of maintenance workers keeping place pristine out there. Great job!

Only gripe for me was they were not renting pull carts due to Covid.

I like to walk with a pull cart and would've taken one but rented a cart instead.

Seems pretty easy to wipe down a pull cart handle after each use.
