Solid day
In the few days after Covid reopening, this was perfect. Easy walk, not many hills and well worth the GN price for walking. Staff was super friendly and on top of the Social Distancing situation.
Course was interesting, old D. Ross layout I guess, plenty of water and traps (which need sand but it’s post covid and will be done soon.)
Only Par 34 on back w/ 3 Par 3s which was interesting and not hokey. Def challenging in the wind (steady ~18-20mph) but I will play tips next time.
Definitely will play again.
Great course layout and value
Played here for the first time with my friend and we’re impressed by the friendly staff and waitstaff when we got there and had a beer before the round. Layout was challenging but not overly difficult for the average golfer. Value was good for the money and we will definitely be coming back again soon.
Merrimack, I’ll Be Back
Played on October 30 in an on-and-off drizzly gray day. Expecting the course to be wet and greens to be rooster-tail saturated; just played it as it lies. Upon arrival, there were two gentlemen that gave you you the lay of the land and was very welcoming and hospitable. Even with the course being wet and cart path only, the place played very fun. The course is seemingly set in a valley and drainage is not its strong point. The layout meanders up and down and through wetlands whilst giving you a panoramic view of the entire property from just about every spot on the course. Tee boxes, greens, and fairways are in great shape. There are lots of penalty areas if your ball strays a bit off line and some tee shots will surely challenge your sense of vision. Trust it and hit it! Plenty of opportunities to score and go low with good ball striking. Wish I payed here sooner and can’t wait until summer to see how this place plays and looks! Merrimack, I’ll Be Back!
Beautiful course.
One of the most picturesque courses I've played. This year is better than ever, hopefully this weather won't blow all the leaves down.
The Kattars have done a great job providing us with one of the best golf clubs in the northeast.
Great course
Well maintained. A lot of interesting holes. Very Friendly sttaff
Needs a little TLC and a ranger
Relatively lush with some patches that really need attention The tees are pretty beaten up. The greens were aerated and dressed ... working on them, but it makes it hard to putt. Quirky layout - lots of par 5s and threes. Not cookie cutter like many new courses. It would have gotten better marks with a little conditioning. AND a ranger to teach people what “ready golf” means. The single greatest is impediment to a superior round was insanely slow play. Yes, I mean you “Red Man” insisting to play from the tips. Putting out on a green should not take 10 minutes. Ever.
Super fun course unusual layout not easy but fair
If you are looking for a fun course to play look no further. We arrived for our time and were hosted by the owner refreshing to feel so much passion for the game super nice gentleman . The course is challenging at time but always fair not easy but with plenty of chance iout. All along the course the staff was extremely friendly. We had a blast and we will be back as truly a special place .
Thank you for all your hard work
A lot of signature hole never boring !!!
Fun Day
This is a course that we play on a fairly regular basis. It's a unique course in the sense that it has more par 3's & 5's than normal. That said, it's still a fun course. Aside from a few holes with a steep incline to the green, it's a very walkable course
