Great course unbeatable price
Great course, great layout, great price & great conditions what mores to say.
Traffic; not the way to start…
Allow extra time if you’re coming from Boston area as I got hung up in traffic twice. Pulled in right at tee time. Starter was rightfully bristly but still respectful. Has to tee and meet my group so after lowering my heart rate, enjoyed the course. Lots of shots to be made, par 70 with the par 3s but still challenging with 3 par 5s. Stand outs are last 3 holes; long par 4 with blind shot in, elevated tee box par 3 with water to the left and a big boy par 5 to finish. Course was fair; to all of us playing, replace divots and repair marks. Those were the most glaring thing but I thinks that’s us as golfers to respect. Did not partake of the amenities.
Great Conditions
Great place for a round of golf that is in great condition. The Starter and Ranger were both friendly and helpful. The Cart Girl and bar tender were engaging and efficient. Overall great expedience!
Forgiving course
First time out since last year and looks like they cleared some trees. So if you spray the ball the course is wide open. Difficulty is a 2/5 as every hole but #4 is a straight shot. Still a fun course to play with the change in elevation
Awesome couse
It was my first time to play in Merrimack valley golf course. The course was beautiful and the length of course was flexible, so I could use all my clubs.
Early aeration
Unexpectedly this early in the season front 9 greens have aeration done so speed on front and back greens is very different.
Cool Course just outside Boston!
Very fun nice layout with a great starter and great players. Pace a little slow even in the mornings, but an overall great time. Will definitely be playing here again.
Just a great day all around! I can’t begin to say enough good things about the staff.
Poor pace of play
9 holes should not take 2:25 here. I saw a bunch of rangers when I was done hanging around the pro shop and not once on the course.
Don’t play on Tues. AM
Seniors play Tue. AM
Took 3 hrs to play 9 holes.
I quit and went home.
