Customer Service - Negative 1
If could give a negative star, I would. The recent reviews have made it clear why the customer service at this course is so poor. My partner and I were teeing off early and let some older gentlemen go ahead of us. When we reached hole 9, a man confronted me, insisting that as a woman, I should only hit from the women’s tees, even though I’d done well using the men’s tees. He claimed we were holding everyone up. Moving along, waiting for four men on foot to play (15 minutes), a rude woman added that she doesn't earn money from players like us who booked through GolfNow.
After a frustrating discussion, and the men on foot still ahead, we decided to leave. As a young, female, Black golfer still learning the game, this is definitely not the course to spend your money. On our way out, driving the reverse, we saw that no one was waiting behind us. Never would recommend such a cheap golf course, to anyone.
Excellent experience
Staff was amazing very friendly. Course was in great shape and awesome views
The first time I played this course I found the staff amazingly friendly, this time, not so much. I think the issue was probably that they were in the middle of a charity scramble and really shouldn’t have left the GolfNow times up!
Course management required
Nice course. Very tight, patience required. Cart should be used as very hilly and some back tracking required to get to some holes. Greens were a nice size. Fairways in good shape. Very friendly staff.
Course needs to be sold and get new owners!
If you're an owner of a golf course, would you want more customers? Or just try to belittle the ones that show up to play?
This is why Quail Hollow is failing. I have never met owners that are so unappreciative of their customers. Telling kids and newer golfers they shouldn't be playing at their course is ignorant. Was looking forward to playing here as I haven't played here in years. But after playing today, reminds me of why I haven't played here in years. It's too bad. I would HIGHLY suggest looking for somewhere else to play. At least until the course is under new ownership.
Hills and views.
Short course, tight fairways, very hilly, lots of uneven lies, small greens. Overall in good shape, greens are a little slow otherwise a good choice. It is out of the way, but still fun to play.
Good course, extremely rude staff
The female manager in the club house needs to be fired. She might be the rudest person I've ever encountered I'm my life. Sadly the course is pretty fun but I won't be back due to multiple instances of staff being actively hostile.
