Great Course
We enjoyed our golf and the meal afterwards! Great course - a hidden gem!
Incredible value
Played a round with 3 others at 1pm on a Sunday. Course has been wet from all the rain and they are doing the best they can to keep that course in tip top shape which it’s in! The pace was great as we finished in 4 hours 10 minutes which wasn’t bad at all. Bit of bummer that there wasn’t food at the bar on a Sunday.
Friendly staff
The staff was friendly and the greens were nice. It was a slow round because we had a foursome in front of us that picked up other people’s balls. They had a hole and a half between them and the group ahead.
Value
Nice little 18 hole course. Not a place I would run to play over and over, but I wouldn't turn down the opportunity. Liked the back nine better. Good value. Nothing extravagant but the price is right. It was in good shape. Challenging layout that entices you to take some chances.
Challenging but fun course
Played there for l first time and had a great experience overall. The course is challenging, especially the greens but it was playable in 4hours for 18 holes. Only thing I would note was that finding a few holes and the tee boxes was a bit of a challenge at times. Otherwise will definitely be going back.
Amazing Value
Solid course and phenomenal value coming in at $35 for 18 with a cart on a weekday. Deals on GolfNow can be had for $25 AND if you play before 10:30 AM you can get lunch for $10. Food is solid and staff is friendly. Hotdog and a Gatorade at the turn was only $5 and I was given a couple waters with my round.
Grass range for warmup and a decent little chipping/putting area. Small bucket is $5.
The course itself is great. Seems like they have done a lot of work to clean up the course over the last couple years. Not the longest but there are some tricky shots with slopeing fairways and hazards. Hitting over the water on 18 is always a blast. Smart and accurate players will be rewarded. Greens are in great shape, little slow but very consistent. Fairways and rough is also good. Only thing that I think needs works are the tee boxes, but for the price I'm not gonna complain much. Overall great course to work on your game or a cheap round with friends. Some areas can get rather wet early spring, but by mid May it's usual fine.
TYPICALLY GREAT PLACE
We got behind 2 foresomes late in the day and were told by female owner to hit into players on 10th hole on the green. Both of us could hit or reach the green, but she was adamant to tee off. I literally just went into clubhouse and bought 2 sandwiches and 2 beers....as was shoved off from her to hit 1 minute later. The slow play was result of earlier groups but we became the problem.
2 some behind us knew it and when we told them what happened, they went back and got refunded for 9 holes....actually before we did.
They typically are nice people and good owners and club house guy had zero to do with it.. Pro Shop guy.
I'll go back because it was only bad experience in 20 years.
Short hilly course.
This course is on a big hill, lots of uneven lies, blind shots. Fairways need a haircut, greens are ok, recovering from aeration could be a little faster.. The manager gave us a great option, start on back nine to avoid slow 4-somes, finished in 3:15.
