It's not often I put a divot in the green, but I took the complimentary tool and low and behold I needed it! Photo submitted by O2GrampaThom on 10/05/2019
Better than working!
What a course. 9 holes, some are long, some short, some up hill, some down hill.
(Dr. Suess is a favorite of mine)
It plays well for everyone, the beginner, the low handicapper, the recreational golfer and juniors.
Golf now made it very reasonable to afford a round. The clubhouse and all its amenities, the pros in the clubhouse and most of all the greens keepers are fun, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly.
The tee boxes were under construction which will make it play better when they are done. The greens were slow to start in the morning, after a rain in the evening before, but as they dried ZING! they got fast.
I lost one ball and paid .20¢ per stroke, figure that out!
Have fun, be nice and pace yourself!
Greens were awesome.
We had a great time. Course was clean and fun. Not over crowded. Greens were amazing.
Challenging course
Great course for the price. They’re redoing the tee boxes so the current ones aren’t ideal but when the new ones open up it will be very nice. Some fairways need some love but overall fun course to play at.
This is my new favorite
Tight and narrow 9 hole with every amenity you can dream of. The fairways and greens were sublime - even after a rainstorm. Tee boxes were a little beat, but other than that there’s a pool, spa, outdoor patio bar, restaurant, beach volleyball, everything! It’s cheap! It’s quick! It’s my new favorite. I’ll be back!
Good people, improved course
Tee boxes and fairways in great shape, greens a bit rough in spots.
Over the last 4 or 5 years the New owners have consistently tried to upgrade this course. This year they have all new carts and they have been redoing the sand traps.
I think the normal price for this place is a little high karma but I'd golf now it is a bargain by a long shot
The pace of play varies greatly. I often get 18 holes in in 3 hours when I'm by myself, the courses off and wide open, but sometimes he will get a few slow foursomes. People are generally pretty cool about you playing through and the management doesn't seem to have a big issue with jumping around if you are by yourself or with a fast moving tandem
Some very good holes
Some very hard holes some holes to make birdies. Fun course to play.
Take the time to play it.
On this day, the course was fairly busy with players. The lay out is pace friendly, especially when the greens are fast. Paid less than .50 per stroke! (You figure that out)
Have fun!
Round on 8/7/19
We ad a good time, the staff and food were excellent. The Greens in pretty good shape for the time of year as were the fairways. Tee boxes need work, very few had any grass left and they were VERY uneven making keeping the ball straight difficult if you want to hit an iron or fairway wood off of the tee. also, on 2 holes they had the grounds crew working (2 carts and 4 men) out in the middle of the fairway when you were trying to tee off.....VERY distracting. Not a big fan of them watering the greens as you are playing either. It make judging the speed and the break of the greens very difficult.
Fairways are very narrow, and the adjacent holes are extremely close. Any wayward drive will most likely end up on someone else’s fairway. Course is not in great shape.
Good value for the money.
Course was in pretty good shape. Staff as always very friendly, excellent food. The tiki bar overlooking the course is a great lace to spend an hour or so after golf with a drink and some good foo.d.
Better hit it straight..
2nd and 3rd holes you better hit it straight. The sand traps need work.
Golf
2nd and 3rd holes are very narrow. You better hit it straight. Makes you think.
This is a very good course for all level of play.
Tee boxes need work but not to bad. Could use a water station near the 5th Tee. Hot and thirsty today.
Better than expected
Solid course for the money. Tee boxes are beat up and a couple of rough patches here and there but overall in decent shape. Nice outdoor bar and patio was a bonus. Would play again.
