Rockland was in fairly good shape some fairways were soggy and a couple of greens need a little seeding. But coarse is fairly open this time of year without brush growth, so it was easy to find errant shots.

Golf course is in rough shape greens were 50/50

Very slow because of the condition. For a municipal golf course 3 stars. All the tee boxes were in lousy shape.

Rate of play horrible/ horrendous 4 hours for a par 3

Good Par 3 course

Simple course with few frills, but it's good for novice players, or those wanting to work on their short game. The greens had some bare spots and were very hard.

Good challenge

This tract is a good one. There are some damaged greens and tee boxes but, overall, the course conditions are good and the pin placements demand controlled distances and landing points.
