Always enjoy playing Falmouth!
Green were in super condition and course had
Been air rated two weeks prior. Considering that , the fairways weren’t
Bad
Only problem was they had changed/ or combined some holes
- and for instance , the holes had not been renumbrred
Nor was anyone ( ranger or starter) there to communicate
- a little confusing !
Still love the course !
Very nice course for the price
We played this course last year for the first time and liked it. Course was in very good condition. Greens were excellent.Just a fun course to play. It is nice to find a decent course to play that you don’t have to take a loan out for. Will definitely go back to this one.
Displeasure with Golf Now and Falmouth Country Club.
When we reserved on Golfnow we did the HOT DEAL of the DAY for 50.99 plus fees bringing it to $57. We assumed this included a cart since it was the HOT DEAL.
When we got to the course we were told this did not include a cart and would have to pay an additional $38. I asked what their regular fee was to play 18 and they said it was the same $50.99. What makes this a HOT DEAL ???? We actually were being asked to pay more then their regular fee. Since we were told we would have to pay additional fees ($38 on top of the service fee) he cancelled us out and said our card would be credited in three days.
I big disappointment and potentially dangerous
Tee’d off at 4pm to walk 18. Air temp at tee time was a balmy 90+ degrees. Took some water along but seeing how we were walking we couldn’t carry much, plus I figured we’d be able to top off as we played our round. Stupid me… there wasn’t a single bit of water at any of the holes any where on the course. And the course is laid out with holes 3-16 completely detached from the club house leaving no opportunity to make a stop. One person in my party left after 9 holes because he wasn’t feeling well… please be aware of you are playing here for the first time.
Great greens
Great pace of play played in a 3 ball in 3 1/2 hours walking
Rough is long, but that’s the game however…..
The greens were way too slow!!! Previous rain days probably the reason.
