I big disappointment and potentially dangerous
Tee’d off at 4pm to walk 18. Air temp at tee time was a balmy 90+ degrees. Took some water along but seeing how we were walking we couldn’t carry much, plus I figured we’d be able to top off as we played our round. Stupid me… there wasn’t a single bit of water at any of the holes any where on the course. And the course is laid out with holes 3-16 completely detached from the club house leaving no opportunity to make a stop. One person in my party left after 9 holes because he wasn’t feeling well… please be aware of you are playing here for the first time.
Great greens
Great pace of play played in a 3 ball in 3 1/2 hours walking
Rough is long, but that’s the game however…..
The greens were way too slow!!! Previous rain days probably the reason.

The staff was friendly nice old fashioned Country Club layout the course was in good condition the pace of play was very slow on a weekend we walked off the 14th hole after 4 hours
Good quality for price.
The tee boxes are well kept. The fairways are in decent shape although the sand traps are not too well maintained. The greens were well cared for and rolled true.

The Talon is a nice little easy walking 9 hole course . A couple of challenging dog legs and a long rolling par 5 (530 yards from the whites)
