Very hilly if walking -- you're out of breath at some of the greens, which are in great shape. Good value.

Great fall ball
One of the best kept fall options; spotless fairways and greens which is hard to find this time of the year. Friendly staff, great dining option. Can’t wait for our next round!

VERY SLOW
Because there was no starter, we were finally able to tee off 15 minutes after our time. They had put numerous 2 somes off in front of us and the round took 5 hours to play.

Great Day Almost.
Beautiful November day in 70's. Course in great shape especially greens. Completed first hole and ran into a 3 group backup. Forty minutes for first two holes. Darkness had us quit after 17. No idea what happened. Maybe an on course ranger might have helped? Still a great experience and price.

Hi, nice day albeit a bit windy at the Hollows yesterday . For golf aficionados a must play at least once if fo no other reason but tho savor the character of the back nine. Carts are a must and only a total fool would walk this billygoat layout. We had 4 seniors walking ahead of us which slowed us down considerably and a backup behind us on almoest every tee. ( all carts everywhere except group in front if us) Walk between tee to green are both long and arduous. . Keep in mind a municipal golf club here and you will enjoy. 4 1/2 hour round in carts should never happen in my opinion. Speaking of carts we were refused separate carts during a pandemic for the first time this year. Illegal? Plenty of carts available and we asked twice no go. Perhaps a Golf Now prejudice since 3 some behind us had 3 carts all young guys no hdcp flags. Finally, I recommend no I demand that you play the ball UP 100%. Trust me

Good day beautiful weather
Course was in very good condition we played here 4 weeks ago and they had just punched the greens and it was not very fun but today conditions were great everything grown in nice. Pace of play was extremely slow we were a three some and there was 3 twosomes in front of us no ranger to move things along. I really like this course so we will be back.

Glad we didn’t go by previous reviews!
My buddies and I played yesterday morning. We almost cancelled after reading several reviews.
We decided to make our own decision, and we were glad we did! The course was in wonderful condition.
We thoroughly enjoyed everything about it from the conditions to the challenging layout.
We visited the restaurant after our round and everything was perfect!! The woman and her husband run the club house restaurant and everything was great! I did ask about the restaurant restrooms as a previous review had complained. She explained that the restaurant is separate of the club, and has to strictly enforce the COVID-19 guidelines. Which requires the purchase of food item with drinks as it is in any Massachusetts restaurant.
Simply stated, we had a great day and we are looking forward to playing Sandwich Hallows again!!

Very Surprised !
Viewed some poor reviews on line and almost cancelled the round, but went anyway for something new, I don’t understand the reviews , this course was wonderful, the Tee’s had some ware from the summer city foke, the fairways were totally green and well mowed, the greens were in great shape and the lay out of each hole was a challenge, but beautiful. The club house staff and menu was great .This course is a great value !

So Slow
The course is relatively straight forward and is in good condition but really needs someone to help groups pick up the pace of play. It took us 3 hours to play 9. We had no one behind us so we would sometimes double back and still be waiting for the group in front.
