I love this course when I'm on the Cape
I played The Captains course, Port side. It wasn't as good as I remembered. In fact I think Sandwich Hollows is in better shape! It is by far the best deal/course on the Cape!

I love this course when I'm on the Cape
This is my favorite course on the Cape. Best value for the money. Staff is always friendly. It might be a little difficult for 1st timers, but once you know the course it's so much fun.

Violating state law, 5 hour round
The State requires tee times no closer than 12 minutes. They are offering tee times every 8 minutes. This is insane in non Covid times. 5 hour round, never saw a ranger. Brutal. Waited on every tee and approach.
Course has some very cool holes. Lots of up and down. Greens in great shape but absurdly slow. Tees need work, fairways pretty good, especially due to hot weather we have had. A decent course but don’t put people on top of each other, if for no other reason than pace of play. Also, where is that water view? I saw a water tower view. But that’s it.

Very slow greens
Course layout is nice and I really enjoy playing here. Fairways have some difficult slopes at times but the greens are extremely slow. You really need to crush the ball on many putts in order to get it to the hole.

Service to the utmost
This is a bit unorthodox because we weren't able to play yesterday but that said I felt it was important to write this review. My wife and I play quite a bit of golf at Sandwich Hollows and always enjoy our experience but yesterday my wife got a flat tire about 30 mins prior to our tee time and it was impossible for us to make it their on time. I called and Michelle was kind enough to move us to a later time. Unfortunately the flat turned into damage that couldn't be fixed and we had to leave the car at the tire place. This caused us to have no chance of making this later time as well so I called to warn them. The staff couldn't have been more understanding and though it was a bummer to miss a beautiful afternoon of golf the attention to customer service certainly helped ease the pain... Great course, friendly, accommodating staff and always an enjoyable time at SH's!

Decent course
Course was in pretty good shape surviving a drought. Could use some rain. Staff is very friendly layout is interesting for a cape course hillier then most cape courses

Another great day on the Hollows
Course is already in nice condition. Staff was friendly as always and pace of play was good. Walked in 4:15. Fun and challenging layout with lots of changes in elevation. My wife and I always enjoy it!

Pace of Play
Unfortunately a pretty good day on the course was ruined by poor pace of play. The reviews said it is a tough walk... this course would be a tough HIKE! Unfortunately, for those who walk it in the morning, because they play so slow, the entire day is like that. Multiple groups on tee boxes, all throughout the course. 5 hour 15 minute round, and when I returned the cart, they didn’t have any left for anyone else and quickly turned it around and gave it to a group on the tee box. Pretty solid track though.

Not a good course
Golf course is in poor condition except for greens. Golf carts were the courses best feature.
