Good course with nice views and some challenging holes

pretty course, slow round, well maintained for a muni. Greens are quite slow.

The greens were in excellent shape and rolled true. This was my first time playing the course and the play was slow on this windy Saturday. A player's assistance would be perfect to have during weekend play. This course cannot be walked, especially the back nine.

This is a challenging, but good golf course. Well maintained. Interesting layout and slope. FAST greens. Didn't score particularly well, but certainly enjoyed playing there!

Played the front 9 in 2:45. Back nine was even slower but I quit after 15.
I arrived at first tee early and starter tried to push us right out on course. When we got to 2nd tee there were 3 foursomes waiting to tee off. We waited a long time for every shot after that.
Course is a decent layout. Needs a great deal of maintenance. It was hard to find level ground on the tees. Greens are okay for public golf.
This seems to be happening to lots of municipal golf courses. They take in lots of money but can't spend it on maintenance because the town uses the money for other things. The towns treat the golf course as a cash cow. Too bad for them. There are lots of other courses that will get my money from now on.

The course was in great shape, the staff and clubhouse was excellent. The price is worth the round, fun place to play.

Front Nine is a good warm up for the terrain and hills of the back 9. Value for the course for what you pay is great.

This course is very tough, but a lot of fun to play, bring plenty of balls with you. Do not attempt to walk this track either, because you won't believe how hilly the cape can be. A great value for the money.

It's the best deal around on Cape Cod for 30 bucks. We were a two some and it took us 4 and 1/2 hours to play the round. We had to wait to tee off on every hole the entire day. The greens had been aerated maybe two weeks ago and you could tell. Your ball bounced all over the green when putting and chipping on to the green. The grounds were inconsistent, some places were soft but most of the areas were hard packed with little give. If you don't hit your ball on the fairway, good luck finding it. The course is challenging and like I said before, for 30 bucks you can't go wrong.

Played the course a lot back a few years ago. This was the first time played since the town of Sandwich acquired the course. Was very disappointed. Greens had been recently airrated, but the tee boxes and fairways were in poor conidtions. Also the under brush in the woods was thick making it difficult to find balls in the woods. Understand the conditions of the greens when checking in the person taking the money did not notify us of the green airrated
Most disturbing was absolutely no drinking water on the entire course.

The course was in good shape. The pace of play was great. The only complaint I have was the greens. They were recently irritated (has to be done) but they could of at least cut them. It was like putting on other courses fairways.

I wish I knew that only 9 of the 18 holes would be available the day I played. I know that some courses will offer up that information to GolfNow.com, so it's available to the golfers, but this was not the case today. I likely would not have made the trip had I known, but I made the best of it.
Playing behind several groups of golfers from the Sandwich High School (who were holding their annual tryouts) led to a very slow pace.

This course was in excellent conditions for August.
Arrived early and was able to get on the course half hour earlier. Staff was excellent and the price was too. Thanks will play again...

Would rather not get into the whole drama that took place, but I will say the front desk person did not sound enthused about my GolfNow tee time. (At 6:15 am on an almost empty course no less)
Glad I only paid $20, about all this place was worth.

A little challenging for me since I've only been playing for a few years. It was easier for my husband who is a good golfer.

Great course for your money. It's shows how much other course over charge.

Good value. Course was in good condition for being town owned, especially greens. Buy water and snacks from clubhouse or bring some as there are zero amenities when on the course. Also there seemed to be no rangers to regulate pace of play on a peak Sunday in August. 5 hours for 18 ad a twosome!!! Course with that much room shouldn't have limited bottlenecks. Overall good experience though.

Great course. Very challenging. Had a fantastic time.

Best value I could find on mid-cape public course; course condition was good; would definitely play again.
