Sandwich Hollows Golf Club

A perfect setting for a round of golf..front nine some what flat with plenty of opportunity to hit away with the driver...back nine a different course with mixed elevations, hills and a few blind shots. Paired up with several very friendly residents and true to a Massachusetts natives complained about the Red Sox ...looking forward to the next round.

The course had a great layout that is I terrific shape. Best value on the cape by far

Moderate difficulty with surprising challenges on the back. Brought my grandson of 11 years old and he held his interest for 18!

This course is ideal for midhandicappers and those that are not long hitters. The changes in elevation also provide variety in the shots required. After a heavy rain the day before the greens were very slow for the most part and took time getting used to. Wide fairways and no water (on the course) or for drinking. The greens, fairways and tees are generally in good shape. the sand traps, cart paths and some of the staors leading to the greens are in need of attention. My impression was that every hole had the potential for a birdie or a bogie depending on your driving, chipping and putting skills.

I play the Holl0ws frequently and it's a fantastic layout and the best value on Cape Cod! The staff is exceptional and the condition of the course was great! I noticed a great deal of clearing work being done on the course which I'm sure will enhance the golfing experience here even better......

Very nice course. There were a few blind shots. I was paired with someone who had played the course. That helped. Play became very slow the last 6 holes.

We enjoyed golfing this very hilly course. Surely appreciated the new comfy carts. We had golfed there many years ago when it was called Round Hill. Wished we would have had some type of guide to show the course layout. Would definitely go back!

No drinking water on course.beverage cart didn't appear until walking off 18.Greens healthy but they have been very slow, I've played 3 time's.

18 holes and a cart for only $30? Such a deal. Course is decent for a muni and the greens were in great shape and the course overall was good too. The first 9 holes were a little slow, but it was just a slow group in front of us. Once they bailed after 9 we cruised through the back in good time.

Worth it especially when they have deals.

Sandwich Hollows, as others have noted, is the best value, read least expensive course on the Cape; It should be, as it is not nearly as nice as most of the other courses. That being said, it is still a good course to try & play. The front nne is much the better of the sides, with a good mix of holes. The back has too many quirky holes. Conditions were pretty good, but once in a while there was a bunker that they seemingly forgot about. Greens were too slow, but consistent: If you're looking for pristine conditions, this is not the course for you, but for the vast majority of us, it will be an enjoyable round, and your wallet will thank you too.

This as great find. Compared to other courses on the Cape, It is not" fancy" but the staff was friendly and the conditions were excellent. Other course offered no specials and were over priced.

Let me start by saying I paid $30 for 18 holes w/ a cart. For a course that measures 6300 yards from the blue, that's a pretty good deal.

Now I say perfect because it's great for the novice or even the very beginner hack out to chop his or her way around a "real" course. I carry a 4 handicap.

It's perfect if you're on vacation in the Cape and have five-plus hours to finish a round of golf. I did not.

It's perfect if you aren't into the scenic views golf courses often offer. I'm a frequent player of Pinehills, Brookside, or Waverly Oaks.

So you see... It's a perfect course with unbelievably great value for everyone. Everyone except the avid golfer.

Very good greens, a lot of eleavation changes makes you think about club selection. have played there twice and really enjoyed the course.

I'm a novice, but my wife and I had a great time golfing. I didn't lose many balls. The fairways were wide, the hills made it challenging. Beautiful course. I will definitely come here again.

The course is challenging to the average golfer. Beginning golfers may find it difficult. Overall it is a great value for the money.

The rangers were non existant all day to keep up steady pace play by other golfers on course. In fact the only time we saw the rangers was when it was close sunset and they wanted to everyone to speed up play. How ironic !!! we hadn't seen them all day and when it close for them to go home, they want play sped up.
