Fairways are looking plush
Greens are getting better,
you can see that a lot of work is going into improving the conditions of this course.
3 indivual walkers, and we never had to wait
Greens and bunkers were in good condition. I ended up on some dry spots along some holes, but overall great value. Holes were all pretty straight.
Fun time playing
Played today (labor day) for our first time and from the first sign we could tell this place was nuts, which is understandable seeing it was a holiday and all. Staff was very nice and welcoming and got us all set up with another two some. We got off a little late, but all and all we had a really great time with the two some we got paired up with. Pace of play was definitely slow but what can you expect when the course is sold out. We had a great time and will be back. Oh, and conditions were great!!
Worst round of golf ever! Couldn’t finish
First off, my tee time started 15 minutes late. Whatever. But then on every single hole there was a minimum of 2 groups waiting on the tee! Unbearable. No rangers, no enforcement of pace of play. Quite ridiculous. Don’t waste your day. I played 3 holes in a. Hour and a half before I left

I thought for this time of year the course was in good shape. We had a lot of fun with decent pace for a holiday weekend.
Classic Run of the Mill Course
Course was in decent shape, a few rough patches here and there but nothing terrible. The greens were well maintained. Nice casual course.
Good value
Not a bad 9 hole course for the money. The course was in good shape where it counts; tee box, fairways, greens.
Dry Course Conditions
The fairways were in decent shape; but if you happen to be in the rough, the ground was dry and hard. Greens had been recently airated and were slow and bumpy. Other than that, it is a nice muni course and well worth the discount I had.
Poor Conditions
Very Low tier municipal course. Random weeds growing on the greens and crappy tee boxes. On 2nd hole the group was trying to putt and a greenskeeper kept mowing the green. Cost efficient for someone trying to work on target practice though
Very nice round of GOLF
UNICORN GC has an exceptional staff and the course is in nice shape too! Always enjoyable at UNICORN.
Wont recommend to anyone
For a few good reasons.
- Although they change owners once a season it seems to go down in quality instead of improve.
- never saw a course that attracts more 50+ handicap then this one.
Expect to have to wait to tee off not only for the foursum that still hasnt teed off but when it is your turn, be sure to watch for the rookie who is inconsiderate and playing his out of bounds lie not realizing hes part of the reason everything is so backed up.
- more rookies on course means more uncontrolled shots and they dont call fore because dont know what it is. Wear a helmet or be very weary
- fair ways are in poor conditions so I wont elaborate on the rest.
- greens are acceptable.
