Townsend Ridge Country Club

Townsend Ridge is a good layout, with consistently very good conditions, and a great staff. I have been playing it occasionally for 22 years and I need to play it more often. They always manage to have to greens in decent shape.

We played from the back tees. Lot of narrow shoots hitting from tees. Target golf with no margin for error (if miss fairway, ball drops off). My handicap is 10 and I lost about 8 balls. Not fun. Conditions decent. STaff was friendly.

Course was in great condition from tee to green. Greens had been aerated earlier on week but still rolled true. Few blind shots that a yardage book would have help. Very enjoyable course that all 14 of us were happy with. Girls at 19th hole were fantastic despite being short handed

Course was in immaculate condition........Tees, fairways, and greens. Some challenging, narrow holes a few blind shots, and not a very long course overall. Staff is very friendly and the drink/snack cart was constantly driving around asking if we needed anything. Good hot dogs at the turn in the clubhouse restaurant and the staff and starter were all very friendly. The golf cart battery was dying on hole 13 and they quickly brought us out a new cart. Worth the drive out to Townsend to play this neat course.

I was looking for a different visual as I play a lot of golf...just about everyday! This is a fun course to play with a couple of quirky driving holes but its a good place to bat the ball around.

We love this corse but had trouble today. The pin placements were all side hill or just off the edge. Our cart died 3 times and had to be changed out. Won't play the course again in the fall.... we will wait for spring summer. Greens were very hard...seemed pressed or rolled too much.

I had a good day at course. I started later than my tee time. They had tournament on course in front of us. It was worth the wait. I had enjoyable day. I played 16 holes. I got a good deal so I was happy. I will definitely go back.

The layout of the course is a good test of golf. Plenty of challenging tee shots. The grass conditions outside of the fairway and around the greens was pretty poor. Lots of bare lies or sparse grass.

Somewhat to be expected with the long dry summer but would of liked to see improved turf conditions.

tight course, plays longer than listed, you must place your shots and be accurate, gets very tight in some spots, not forgiving. Some blind shots you have to have faith. you need to play this more than once to be able to know what to expect for your second shot.

I will play again to test my golf game.

Not only was the staff welcoming, other players on the course and at 19th Hole were exceptionally nice. The course conditions were excellent compared to the last couple of outings at various other locations due to lack of water.

This course is well designed. It has a little of something for everyone. Whether you are lefty or righty, long or short doesn't matter as this course will help you on some holes and hurt you on others

Play was slow but it was Sunday, fun course especially for ball hawking

Greens are best in two years, aerated about six weeks ago. Fairways starting to wilt in the heat but still very playable. Mostly treelined fairways making for tight tee shots. Play the fade on par five fifth for a good runout to reach in two. Eight and thirteen will get your attention.

Good price but little disappointed. Need more lots of improvement .

Course is in excellent condition other than the airation. But spring and fall you run into that. Overall it is a good layout.

club house ran out of hot dogs while we made the turn on the back nine. Beautiful day but no hot dogs? Overall great day but disappointed we couldn't get a quick bite to eat on the turn. Declined clubhouse after round and went home to eat.

Pretty good shape for early spring. Greens excellent but hard to read without local knowledge. Greens sloped opposite prevailing slopes are very challenging. Great course for repeated play. Every hole has a reason to live.

Disappointed in the practice facility. The practice green is small and sloped unrealistically. The driving range was kind of a mess and more mats than grass. But hey, at least they have range and practice green.

The "management" for a Saturday was lax. Just didn't have the professional air that a quality layout like this deserves.

This is a semi-private course. Couple quirky holes but overall very fair and very challenging. Greens were plugged late last fall so still a bit bumpy now but will be in excellent condition probably in 30 days. Always a great time here.

Just overall nice course enjoyed the luxury of weekday golf also enjoyed the great savings

Nice course for the money at the discount rate. A few very narrow holes are very tough for average golfers.
