Chequessett Yacht & Country Club

Played 18 on a 9 hole course. The 2nd time around was backed up, we waited about 25/30 min. Holes 6 and 7 are terrible. The grass on those two holes is awful, feels like you are in someone’s backyard. Wished the restaurant/bar opened earlier than 11. It would be great to grab a breakfast sandwich or something in the way out.

Positive: pro shop staff was nice. Food was decent and drinks were good.

Overall good course and enjoyed our round.

Many reviews mentioned bad mosquitoes but we did not encounter any problem.

Decided to try a round of golf whil on Cape Cod. This course won’t be my first choice again.

Nine holes that you double play from various tees. Tees are hard to find and the color scheme is hard to make out Need more varied colored blocks where entire block is painted tee color.

No nineteenth hole open. Not sure if open ever.

Nice price. Members warned that the mosquito’s can be bad, I do not experience that. This was a fun course to play if your on the east end of the cape.

Interesting and challenging course. Fairways were in great shape.

Nice 9 hole course in Wellfleet with interesting holes. Short par 3s, some challenging par 4/5s with changes in elevation and blind shots.

But beware the mosquitos!! Course is cut through marsh / wetland-type land which is not treated. Was covered by bugs (despite an ample amount of spray) from the first tee shot. Don’t know if this was a bad day but limited the enjoyment of our round.

To the club’s credit, the starter did warn us at the outset and made sure we were carrying bug spray

Well maintained course, Extremely friendly staff on and off the course! I would recommend this course to everyone looking for a fun game while on vacation

Nice 9 hole course with great views on the 3rd green.

I took my father here and bought the tickets on GolfNow. The pro shop had no record, but due to the weather, it was no problem.
The google maps shows a burned out course, but this year, the course was in fantastic shape, all the greens were in great condition and the overall condition was superb.
They claim to have 2 tee boxes per hole, which is true but half of them are essentially in the same location. I thought the idea was great, and the execution was ok. There wasn't enough of a difference on a number of holes to create a different view of the fairway/green. Still, I enjoyed the opportunity to play whichever view we wanted to for each hole.

I will certainly play here again when I am down.

Well managed facility, nicely groomed with some challenging holes. We love the view of Wellfleet Harbor from the 3rd green

Was an early morning single and played the first nine in little more than an hour. The back nine was another story entirely. After breezing through the first two holes, I entered golf pergetory - 3 hours to play the last 7 holes...

Course is usually wet on many holes and not very friendly to non members
