nice layout
Love to play the course, but 3-4 groups on several holes and not a ranger to be seen, 5 hour plus rounds and not a lot of fun
Falcon closed but Eagle/Hawk open!!
Wonderful staff keeps this course in
very good condition, even this late in the
season!! Grounds keeper as well as starter works very hard to keep this place running like clock work. Even with 1 hour delay, they kept the pace around 4:30 hours so hats off to all of them!! Will definitely be back again for many more rounds next season!!
Decent
Decent play. More of a placement course. Greens were ok but nothing special. I thought for the money it would be much nicer. I’d play again on a hot deal but wouldn’t pay full price.
Pine Knob Covid Retreat
You can tell the maintenance crew is working hard to keep the course well maintained. Considering all the play public courses get, PK was above average. They should do a better job with Rangers, as there were some pace issues. We finished in 4:40, but there were some belligerent rude drunks (locals) making ethnic slurs and acting like A-holes
Late Season Golf
Courses are never in perfect condition at the end of the season here in Michigan. Was not in terrible shape but a little love on the greens would go a long way.
A bit slow
Really the only issue is the pace of play has been consistently slow, about 15-20 mins behind on tee times.
The Hawk
Course was nice but it is next to the highway, road noise was horrible. Play the eagle
Does not fit my game
The course was in great condition. My beef with it was the fact that a lot of holes play to the strength of a player who likes to fade the ball. I can not fade the ball. My natural shape shot is a draw. I was in a lot of tree trouble even before i hit my tee shot. Way to tight from the tee box. Need less to say i will never be back.
Bucket List
Have wanted to play this course for awhile, got the chance and not disappointed. Staff friendly, course very nice, putting a little tricky as people can't afford a ball mark tool for the greens. But they rolled true and fast, and overall very enjoyable day. I'll play this again for sure now that i have seen the layout.
