Always Sad When A Ross Course Closes
Course was a Donald Ross course and had many great greens. The 18th hole finished with a par three and was one of my favorite holes in the Detroit area. Holes 15 through 18 were terrific and a great 4 hole stretch.
WORST IN MICHIGAN
I played this course 3 yes ago. It was bad then...it's even worse now...we played for $8.00 w/cart...I still wouldn't go back...greens were awful....nobody cares for this course maintainance
Love this Course!
Wish it was in better condition, some of the greens are so neglected my garden has more grass.
BUT IT IS AWESOME!
Great evlevation changes, Great Layout, Great Green Placement, Beautiful Fairway settings.
Just a shame its not kept up.
I golf this course 3 or 4 times a year, it would be 10 or 20 times if it was greener.
Golf it if you haven't, its a must!
The course has a lot of character.
It could stand for some upgrades in maintenance. But overall it's a pretty good value. The back nine is very distinct, nothing like it anywhere I've played.
