do not under any circumstances play here until they decide to actually use water on fairways and actually mow and fix their infected and destroyed greens.

Played August 9 2020 and tee boxes in terrible shape,fairways(basically there are no fairways, all destroyed patches of rough acting as fairway) and greens are unplayable

Course tells you when you show up. They have no right to be open and golf now/ tee off should remove from listing.

I remember playing this course multiple times a year back when I was younger. Course was in great shape then. Came say the same now. Still get the nostalgia, but the course is in the worst shape of and course I've played in recent memory. Teeboxes were cut, but not cared for. Crabgrass, dead patches, and general lack of care. Fairways and rough were the same length (too long for fairway, but too short for rough). Greens were cut to the length of fairways and many had dead patches all over making putting a nightmare. You had to turn your shoulders on 20 ft putts to get it there. Overall, I cannot stress show little I recommend the course. Sad because I was excited to play a course from my early golf years.

All grass cut same height. Greens stemped at 4-5 at best. Save your money.

The owners don’t care about this course at all. Everything from the greens to the club house is run down and beaten up. This course needs some real TLC. it’s not just this year That it’s like this it’s every year. It gets worse and worse and the owners care less and less. Someone please help this course.

Have not played this course in two years. Loved playing it on the past, glad to see it is on Golfnow again. Was a hot day and a dry course. Greens were particularly slow which took some time to adjust to. Played from the tips and was a good day to get stretched out. No birdies today . Looking forward to playing this course again.

Course overall in poor condition.. fairways needed cutting . and lots of burnt spots....greens all have burnt brown spots..good to get out and just hit but would not go back this year..

Greens are terrible. Most are burnt & if there is grass it was like shag carpeting. Fairways are burnt also.

Support the course, but man it’s rough. Wish there wasn’t dead patches or diseases on greens. Not sure why there is no weed pulling or bunker maintenance.

Course was in good condition a little dry due to hot weather, just made ball go further! staff was awesome we had a great experience!!

Not my first time playing here.

Issues:

-Sprinklers running through all fairways till noon. Took 6 holes for them to shut off.

-Tee box uneven and burnt. No grass so my shoes slipped during drive.

-Overall “grass” in horrible shape. (Maybe try watering in the morning””

-Ground and greens so hard the ball was bouncing over so you can’t plan a good shot.

This course used to be nice and for whatever reason, now it’s dissapointing for $45 and it’s one I won’t be playing anytime soon.

This course needs work. The layout is nice, off fairway grass is too high in most areas and the cart paths are aweful.

We were unable to find many balls just off the edge of the fairway. Also lost a couple in the fairway.

Just awful! I knew this about this course based on being a local. I didnt realize it was as bad as it is. Needs new ownership

Worst course I've ever golfed, never in my life have I quit and walked off before finishing a full 18 holes until this experience. I've Been to this course for 3 straight years multiple times a season, never had any complaints other than the thick rough, but this season I could not believe how the course has not been kept up to good playing conditions, it made the worst courses I've ever been to look like gems now that I think back. You should never lose your ball in a fairway and there should be actual sand in the bunkers not rocks or bees nests, and weeds growing everywhere. You easily can lose balls in the thick rough and never find them under all the grass clippings not being picked up. It's frustrating to hit a good shot and lose your nice pro v1. The greens were sticky and spongy couldn't have been slower, I just am appalled that on a holiday weekend or any day for that matter that they charge that rate, I even got it on a hot deal off golf now and it's not their fault but it was not worth the deal, I wouldn't have paid $5 to golf this course, I hate to give this review because the staff is friendly and courteous but I just can't believe the course was this bad weeds literally all over the course, I'll stick with boulder point in oxford for $25 they keep standards high and for the price it can't be beat. Needless to say this experience will keep me from ever coming back to Heather highlands.
