Very awful experience, rude customers, staff’s nice but doesn’t care about your concerns
It was a little wet because I went golfing before 8 am, I was just driving looking for my ball minding my own business while someone on another cart came up to me and started yelling and cussing me out, and said he’s gunna call the cops on me because I’m his opinion I drifted but I didn’t even mean to these carts accelerate pretty fast and it was wet, and then he’s yelling he’s gunna call the cops and I’m like okay do it I’m just trying to avoid any alteration and be the bigger person mind you I’m 21 and this guys in his high 40s low 50s and he’s acting very in appropriate, Anyways they wouldn’t leave me along tells I just left and went back to the course I told the staff and he’s like oh yeah that guys he’s a regular here, so they didn’t care one bit which I get I’m young so they probably think anything of it probably just assumed he’s right when all I was doing was minding my own business, so they don’t seem to care I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place at least in the morning while that guy is here.
I don't see what the fuss is...
Arbor Hills has always had that country club, swanky vibe to me. I don't see what people see in this course that makes them want to play it multiple times a month.
The course layout is normal as it comes and the views of Arbor "Hills" are they are obsolete. I play this course maybe 3 times a year and it seems like every time I show up the prices are raised as if they were a Calderone (which they don't compete with at all).
When I show up as a single (always way before my tee time) the guys always give me the feeling like I'm wasting their time. This is every time. The only time I'll go back is with a friend or a group now.
It's a nice course, not a great course.
More than worth it
This is a good course for all skill levels and it has some fairly nice scenery and care built in
Great First Impression
I played this course for the first time on the morning of 9/13/20. The staff at the Pro Shop was extremely friendly and we chatted about the course for a quick minute before teeing off. The course was still damp (and the lowest fairway at #12 was puddled) but that's to be expected from the rain the previous nights. The greens were fantastic. Challenging and fast - and the holes themselves were not too forgiving which made for some 3-putts. The course itself is very picturesque and it's apparent that this used to be a private club. Several of the tee boxes need sod work and/or rolling to mat them down a little bit. Overall though, I had a great experience and will definitely play again!
Thumbs up
For the price can't beat it old school feel great greens
Overbooked bs
4+ for 18? Atrocious I will not be back 2 times in a row it's taken over 2 hours for 9 the 2nd time around i left after 9 because ya'll clearly care about money over someone's day, enforce quicker golf or spread out your tee times because this was multiple terrible experiences
