The Medalist Golf Club

The Medalist is great track!!! The course was in excellent condition (except greens had recently been topdressed). Start allows you to settle by offering two relatively straightforward holes, then the adventure begins! Great shot values, visually appealing, true greens, and excellent staff and service. Highlty recommend this course.

I played here recently for the first time after hearing a lot about it. Normal price is way too high for me but on Golf Now I got to play 18 for $12 which is why I gave it a 5* on value. Very easy to lose golf balls but that's what makes it challenging. If you're good off the tee you can shoot a good score. The design is very aesthetically pleasing. The bunkers are the best I've ever seen. Although I played the worst golf in a decade here, I would recommend anyone try it out. It was worth the price I payed just to hit tee balls and not even finish 80% of the holes since I couldn't afford to keep losing balls.

This course is a very nice course! Conditions are excellent! I saw on MGL that they listed hole #11 as one of the hardest 18 holes in Michigan. That being said, don't think that 11 is the only challenge on the course. My advice: Bring a bunch of golf balls if you're struggling off the tee. All of the tee shots are very demanding, and when the course gets firm and fast, don't be surprised to have a ball hit in the fairway and bounce all the way into the trees.

Very nicely laid out course. Fairways and greens in very good shape! Staff was very helpful. My wife lost cell on course and staff was very helpful and accommodating. They found the phone the next day. Overall excellent experience and we will be back!!

The greens are nice and fast .. Some of the fairways get tight .. Beautiful course in great condition

I play the Medalist every week on a work league but saw I Hot Rate I couldn't pass up. The course is always very well maintained and is always challenging. It is just hard enough that it never gets old. Nice greens and Tee Boxes. Always well groomed too. You cant beat the GPS on the carts as well.

Conditions are awesome. Fast greens. Great fairways. Everything was great except for the swarms of deer flies that would bother almost every shot. If I play again next time, have to bring bug spray

This course is wonderfully laid out it has space between holes making each whole private. Having GPS on the golf carts was a great bonus loved it!

AAAA+ Simply amazing course with beautiful and challenging holes. The GPS is the best I have ever experienced. Greens are fast and challenging, you need to look carefully at the greens to see the breaks within the break. I will be back many times.

course is in real good shape and very challenging. With new gps and pro tips on the carts made it quicker and easier to play. Staff very friendly and food was good. This is out in the marshes so may need to bring some bug spray. Few holes with sand flies driving us crazy. Will be back there soon!!!

Golf course is in pristine condition. Greens are fast and run true. The new GPS system is awesome!

Our daughter and son-in- law came from Scottsdale AZ for the holiday. We played 18 holes that afternoon. They were so impressed with the course and the great shape it was in. The staff were so friendly and we finished the day with a fun dinner at the osprey .... Taco nite! Fun day!!!

The only thing I dont like about the course is the blind spots. If you've never played here before, you dont know where to hit it.

I enjoy playing here several times a year. Great layout and always in good shape. Excellent greens!

Course was in great condition. Only problem we had was with the new GPS carts. We would be on the cart path multiple times and it would say we wede in a restricted area. It happened too often and slowed our play down. Overall though it was a good time.
