Terrible
Placed us behind an outing and it was awful. We ended up skipping a hole just to get done.
Hoped for better
The carts were not good. The first one we had, the seat back was coming apart. Greens were not that great. We started behind. Once our foursome cleared the front 9 pace was much better. Will go back but I really hoped that this would be a course that I have to go back too.
Not Bad but Not Great
First the carts need some attention. The first one we picked the back of the seat was coming apart and flopping around. We changed carts and the second one did not have much power. We saw one being pushed later on. Course layout was a bit confusing at times. Greens were fast and a couple were very patchy. We did notice some improvements were being made. Fairways are pretty open and the course is a good challenge. Our group did have fun.
Horrible experience
Booked a group of 2 for a hot deal at 9:30am, Got to the course and checked in, there was three foursomes on the first hole, along with 2 others waiting to pair up with me....that’s 15 on the same hole.....I left disgusted and of course there is no refunds because it’s a hot deal...overall will never use either again
Good
We enjoyed our time. Our only complaints are that they were laying gravel and doing a lot of work and the workers were not curtious to players. One hole the staff even honked while we were teeing off trying to get us to hurry. Also, the players behind us were playing right on top of us almost hitting one of us in the head with a ball without yelling fore. It came within 3 feet of their head...
Not bad for the buck
Not a stellar course, it was in better shape now vs. a few years ago. For the price it was hard to pass up
Average course
The condition of the course was average, but the price was good. As a first time player, it was very difficult navigating the layout of each hole. We could not tell where water came into play, could not tell which direction the flag was in, and could not find course length markets on the fairways. We eventually downloaded a GPS navigator for distance, but lost air a few balls due to lack of knowledge of course layout.
Terre Verde
Great course for those that play infrequently and just want to go out and have some fun. Not a course for the serious golfer. Greens are browned out from the hot summer and the parking lot is softer than the rough. If you just want to go out and have fun (in a courteous way of course) on the golf course, then this will work for you. If you are looking to work on your game or play a competitive round - not so much.
Great value!
Quite well kept for a public course. Fairways and greens mostly intact...few greens were chunky and burned up. Greens were very slow and don’t play the read. Overall great values, unique course for sure, lots of fun.
Terrible
This course is not worth the money even at $28 for 18 and cart. There are many other courses nearby that are at the same price point that are better than this one. Greens are terrible, bumpy, and have worm holes in them. Fairways are concrete and filled with clover and other lovely weeds. Again, there are many courses nearby that are in much better shape at the same price as this one.
Terre Verde very reasonable
Good place to play. Prices for seniors to play is very reasonable
Fun Challenging Course
We have a good time every time we head out for a round there. The only complaint I have is there doesn’t seem to be yardage markers on the course, I do not remember this from the past rounds so maybe its something they are still working on this season.
Staff is super friendly, and inviting. One thing we did notice was they were sending load off people off the front at the same time frame, should have sent some off the back to free things up a bit.
Terra Verde
We play terra Verde many times a season.the course is not overly long, but has just enough difficulty in the layout to present a challenge.staff is always super friendly and welcoming,a nice play with a hot deal.
Average course, but good bang for your buck. Friendly staff. I’d go back.
Average course, not spectacular
Got a $27.50 hot deal for 18 holes with a cart ($35 regular price). The course had a good layout but could use some improvements on upkeep. The tee boxes were dirt and didn’t look like the tees had been moved enough, the greens were infested with beetles (but were otherwise pretty good). The fairways were good, but the rough was very unkept and it was hard to find balls because of weeds and unkept grass. Also, hole distances were significantly off (according to my GPS, which tends to be pretty accurate). Also, there was not a single sand trap and all the ponds did not look clean or groomed. The ladies working the clubhouse were very nice and friendly. Overall, it was a descent-average course that correlates with the price. Would I come back again? Probably only if someone asked me to go with them there, but I probably wouldn’t seek to play again. With some better grooming, the course could be great.
