An inexpensive fun course to play. Staff was courteous. Great value for the money!
After it rained,It was better !!!!!
I played this course with puddles everywhere and still enjoyed myself.after playin this course 2yrs ago and compared to that then this was a lot better.would recommend only if it's on good nice dry days not after a good hard rainy day I advise not to do it, u might drown nah jus kidding lolll, but seriously it's all good...
Great deal
I played this course on a beautiful sunny day. The greens were in excellent shape. It was challenging even on the short par-4. The par-fives are reasonable for an old-timer like me. This is the best value in Muskegon
This course is a good value.
The course is in good condition with greens and fairways fast for a Michigan course. Many blind shots so it's difficult for players not familiar with the layout. Nice practice facilities. The staff is friendly. I was a single and wish I had been paired with a twosome or another single. Not a very busy course and worth the price.
Great open layout
Enjoyed this course with the open layout. For late in the season it was well groomed. Wish the tee boxes were still out as it was hard to find the women's box.
Desparately Needs Irrigation
We have had a bit of a drought here. This course obviously has no irrigation. The fairways were brown and dried out so badly that your cart kicked up dust driving across them! The greens were so hard that nothing held. You could hit a 9-iron to the front of the green and it would roll off the back! The staff member that checked me in was very pleasant but did seem a bit confused. She sent me off the 10th for no apparent reason. All in all, I do not think I'll be going back even at the Golfnow prices!

Good Time
Very average course, but the experience was good. Not much of a difference between the rough and the green. I give this course a 3 out of 5
Below average
This course was below average as far as the course play. It took 5.25 hrs to play 18. The ranger was out there on his " day off" and played through us and 5 other groups without even trying to help or speed up play. He was all about him. The tee boxes were of clay and so hard packed with no grass I broke several tees just trying to tee up. The greens were ok but burnt out in some areas on a lot of them. The rough and fairways were ok. The lady in the club house was nice but was the only on there on a stacked up day. She was working hard.
slow play kills this course
Played behind a walking foursome that would not let us play through. Then to make things worse, the course allows players to stop off after the 5th hole for beers, then jump in front of players coming off the fifth hole. There were 3 groups of players (the guys who went to the clubhouse for beers, us, and the group behind us) all waiting at the 6th tee box.
Management can see this from the clubhouse, but allow this to happen. So slow play all day!
Probably will not go back as there are other courses to choose from in the area.
Liked course
Course was great, golf now charges too high a fee,$3.50/ person.
Bottle neck
Payed for 18 holes but only finished 9. Two of us can usually play 18 in 2 1-2 to 3 hours but it took us that long to play 9 due to the bottle neck at tees. Foursomes didn't let us play through while they were teaching and dragging on. Tee times were not spaced out well enough. The attendant let some play off the back but not us...didn't seem fair. Liked the course otherwise.
Nice course for the money
It was a nice course small greens but very well maintained. Did not eat the food so really can't comment on that portion but I would recommend this course to others
Needs some TLC
Mostly ok, greens were in terrible shape. It looked like a wheel fell off the mower on the green and put green wide trenches, making putts hop all over the place.
Always a Pleasure
For a quick 9 holes of play in early spring the course was in great shape! We always enjoy the variety of holes on this course, some water to stay out of but very few sand traps!

good golf course at a great value up/ down hills elevation changes it is a fun course to play i have always had a good tome there
