Lake Cora Hills

It has just enough long & short holes. Challenging enough for a mere amateur. Had a great time & did okay for the first time out..

Many of the holes involve blind shots to elevated greens or approach shots down to greens below the fairway. It is interesting to play this course since rolling onto an elevated green seldom is successful.

This was a very nice course. Not too long or short but very challenging and a great golfing experience. Had a wide variety of conditions; i.e., water, sand, woods, hills, large & small greens, and blind holes. This course was in very good condition, especially for October. All 4 of us decided we will definitely make the long drive back to this course in the future.

Overall experience ruined by pace of play at course. Waited on every tee shot, every fairway shot. Average course as to conditions. Layout kind of quirky. Cannot recommend.

This beautiful course has many rolling hills and well positioned lakes to make it a challenge at 6000 yards. Blind shots add to the encounters you will have as you enjoy your surroundings. Greens are in excellent shape and soft. A really fun course.

The course was just fine. Very playable meaning you could score well being only a decent golfer like myself. Pace of play was fantastic as well as the courtesy of the staff. Overall a very enjoyable afternoon.

I wasn't expecting much for such a low price, but was pleasantly surprised. The course has a lot of interesting topography with many characteristics of some of the finer northern Michigan courses. I shot the best front nine in many years even though it was a bit challenging. I'll definitely be back!

No one in my group had played the course. Unique start with a par 3, followed by two par 5's. We all felt the couse was in good shape, especially the greens. It is a fun course with a few challenging holes that required proper club selection and strategy.

Course was in great condition holes were in some real tough spots.

Found here. This course is not a country club but rather a course in the country. There are too many courses in the southwestern michigan area and there is no need to pay much to play golf. While the tee boxes were pretty beaten, the greens were surprisingly good for a local course that needs league play to survive. Not a 12 on the stimpmeter, but ok considering we played in 3.5 hrs and waited on every hole on the back which we started at 1:55 pm on a Saturday. The routing of the back has changed since my last play here 20 years ago. The front nine makes sense and has elevation changes that are attractive for the better player and challenging for the higher handicapper. The back nine is mysterious and not well marked. The first timer will be lost. The eleventh hole ( formerly the 17 th) offers a blind second after a tee shot that will confound even a PGA tour player. I hit a perfect three wood in the fairway right of center and had no clue as to the green's location. Many years ago one could have played over a barn like structure to the green but that structure has been removed. If you do not mind a rather hokey track at a reasonable price without any fancy amenities, this could be your place.

I used to golf in leagues here - (3-4 years ago) and haven't been back in quite awhile. Since then black tees have been added and white tees have been shortened somewhat. I played the black as these were what used to be the whites. Course in great shape, played with a partner and finished 18 in 3.25 hours.

Will be back on Saturday for an outing and will see how course plays from the white tees. Stay tuned.

A very well kept course. The rolling hills and water gives this course an edge on the rest. Fun to play.

Lots of hills so you can only see about 3 flags playing 18, besides the par 3's. Until you get close to the flag.

Course is in great shape, new electric carts, had a great time

Course was in horrible shape, some greens were mushy, some had dirt on them, it was hard to distinguish between the fairway and rough. Water was dirty and Unappealing. This is a 1 to 2 star course. Drive down the road and play Heritage Glenn or Thornapple Creek, your money will be much better spent.

Have played here quite a few times and found it to be in excellent condition. Greens were in great shape and for the most part smooth and true. A lot of the white tees have been moved up so the average golfer reallt should play the blues now @6185 yrds. Whites were only 5500 yrds. That seems to be a permanent move as cards have been reprinted w/ those distances. Fun little track.

Lake Cora Hills is in excellent condition, the staff was very friendly and pleasant. We love golfing at Lake Cora Hills.

We were cordially welcomed when we arrrived, and immediately processed to begin our round. The course is well maintained and offers some exciting challenges.

Great course with many challenging holes. Well maintained and greens are true.
