Mind Set
Total Vacation Golf course. a big range of golfers. get your mind set for slow play if you tee in the afternoon.
This is a fun and challenging course.
I’m a 10 hcp’r and really enjoyed the course. Now, that I’ve played it, looking forward to playing it again with the course lay-out knowledge. Greens were nice and pretty true. Had some tough pin placements this morning. The greens have some pretty good slope to them, which helps the course defend itself. The second nine has some rolling hills and some blind approaches. As long as you know your yardage, just swing away. Great value.
Great course
First played this course last year and was very surprised by how nice the greens and overall course layout is. The fairways are kept a little long which I personally prefer compared to shorter cut fairways. Greens run very pure and I regularly get spin, so far this is my favorite course in south west Michigan.
Nice course friendly stsff
Course was in excellent condition despite heavy recent rains. Staff very helpful and friendly. Not overly long course but challenging hilly holes.
Two courses in one....
Front is tighter and has more water and l haoles with doglegs. Back is fairly open but has some bigger hills that test you uphill/downhill swings.
I enjoy the course and it
It's just ok
I want to like this course, but truly, there's better options. The layout is awkward at times and the course didn't seem to be well maintained. The grass was long and the greens were slow. If you hit into any weedy or wooded area, don't even bother looking for your ball, there's poison ivy everywhere. I know this is the case at many courses, but it seemed extra. The pace of play was ok bc there weren't many people playing. We did have to play around a slow 6-some though. The cart struggled; particularly on the hills and there are lots of hills. We moved at a clip just above walking pace..... Also, there are 3 sets of "tee boxes." The forward/women's tee boxes are a joke. Clearly an afterthought. They are just markers set out on the fairway. On a positive note, the wooded areas are pretty and all the staff we interacted with were friendly. Overall, this could be a nice course with some maintenence and attention to the forward tees.
Disappointed
I hadn’t played here in about 3 years, very disappointing. Not worth 46.00 we paid to play it. Greens were very slow and fairways hadn’t been mowed in some time. There was a group of 11 people on one hole and a group of 7 on another, I won’t be going back
