Deme Acres Golf Course

I enjoyed my time here. The GPS is nice, but pace of play could have been quicker if tee times were more spaced out.

Played the best golf in my life at this course. Beautiful greens and holes that create a challenge but are are not too difficult for a golfer who usually shoots high 70s.

Last Tuesday, I was looking for a short road trip course where I could explore a new area and shoot 18. I fell upon Deme Acres in little town of Petersburg, MI.

Man, did I get lucky. Deme Acres was on GolfNow for like $20? Perfect VALUE! It was only a short but scenic drive from Jackson, MI . The course short but was smooth with some tricky short par 4's. The water that sit near the greens on the short par 4s make you think. Also, some pretty tough par 3s out there too.

The GPS on the cart was phenomenal (read distances, kept score and ordered food on the turn all from touch screen) and the greens weren't too fast for a dry day.

All and all, if you're looking to get out of the traffic of city life and play a pristine short course near to the Ohio border. Deme Acres is the course for you. GO CHECK IT OUT.

I really enjoyed playing here. It was our first time playing this course. It was easier for my friend who plays at a private course but he enjoyed it just the same. I would definitely come back to play again soon.

I never go out of my way to leave reviews, but i would like to warn others before they waste time coming here. If you have tattoos, piercings, from out of state, or are black do not even attempt to golf here. The owners of this place are well known for their hate. Family owned buisness name Bolsters. Owner will mow grass the whole time your playing, and will stare you down, he approached my wife and I and told us we were dressed wrong for his course , as i said to him there are no signs posted for a dress code, we were on hole 4 by the way, I had a basketball cut off shirt on. He then said he would knock the smirk off my face, for no reason. My wife and I instantly went to the front to get our money back, he followed us and begin yelling that we said we were going to " beat his behind" which was a huge lie, this old man is in his 70s calling us names , the office ladies seemed like they didnt care one bit. However they did refund our money. Try it out yourself.

Go somewhere else, I don't want this to get overcrowded.

I will never book another tee time through golf now $15 to book a 4 sum for a course that only costs $27 to play is outrageous save your money and don't use this app

It's shocks me to know golf now charges me 15.00 dollars to book a tee time for a foursome which doesn't come off my total to pay is an outrage, I will not use golf now to book ever again... it cost nothing to call and quite frankly it's easier.

Carts are a great tool to help with distance and locations. I was also able to order food at the turn and the Deme Dog was AWESOME! Great idea on this course offering coolers for the purchased beverages. The staff is always helpful and smiling. The course is always clean and full of friendly golfers.
