Greenskeeper is the best
Great course - I’ve gotta say, the Greenskeeper is killing it out there with manicured fairways and greens. Feels like you can putt from 30 yards off the green.
Very professional staff. Course was in excellent shape. Grreens also in great shape. We’ll be back!
Pin Placements
On 08/01/2021 the green sleeper got his revenge. I never saw so many tough pin locations. It was very challenging. I really enjoyed my round.
Hidden Gem
I had played Black Heath about 15 years ago and had an enjoyable round of golf and although the course was young, it had great potential to mature into something special. I hadn’t played the course since, but when I had people visiting from out of town and was looking for something reasonable with available tee times that would work for me, I picked Black Heath hoping it would be the right combination of quality golf at a great value. It proved to be a great choice and made for a great day of golf! My group consisted of both novice and experienced low handicap players. Everyone absolutely loved the course, layout and condition of the course! Now the clubhouse and amenities are nothing to write home about, which probably accounts the incredibly reasonable price, but the staff is friendly, courteous and helpful! This might be the best hidden gem in southeast Michigan! I highly recommend golfers of all levels to give this course a try, you won’t be disappointed!!!
Painful!
We played on a Thursday at 11:30 p.m. There were 2 groups on the tee box when we got to it (we were on time) and things got slower from there. We waited on every shot and every hole. There were no rangers telling groups to play faster. It took well over 5 hours to finish.
Good solid course.
Fun course. Greens are beautiful. Fairways and rough look great as well. Some long rough in spots that make it challenging. Overall great course.
Great value
This is a solid golf course in above par conditions consistently, staff is awesome, and best of all price is always reasonable. Sure the clubhouse isn’t much to look at it but were here to golf.

Course is in amazing shape. Perfect greens. Good pace during the week. Friendly staff and good price for summer golf. Play here. Worth it!
Very slow
Pace of play was excruciatingly slow because of cart path only.it took almost 3hours to play 9 holes so we left.
