Beech Woods Golf Course

Beechwood is well maintained course that offers a great challenge. It's short but very tight. Every tee shot requires a little thought about club selection and ball shape. If you can get through this course and consistently stay in the fairway you can play anywhere.

One of the best smaller courses I've ever played before. Many of the holes are narrow and call for a very accurate shot. The course is maintained as if it were a private country club. Golf here and you will not be disappointed.

This is a very well maintained, beautiful little course. Play is a bit slow but who cares. It is a very peaceful place to wait until the hackers in front clear out. I wholeheartedly recommend this golf coarse.

Nice course for the money. Heavily wooded and the trees come into play on every hole. Would be too easy without the trees. Make sure to bring bug spray as the mosquitos love this course too.

Course is tight, lots of trees and hanging branches. Slight wait times on the weekends at each tee box.

Worth it for time, price, and convenience.

Course ranger was cleaning up marks, trash, etc. and offering insight during the round. Big help.

After paying just $9 for 9 holes with a cart, I thought it would be a cheap, rundown course. I was pleasantly surprised to play an extremely well-manicured course with a cool layout. The fairways are narrow and tree-lined so you are forced to hit it straight. Loved everything about the course! Might be my favorite course in the area for the hot deal!

They've added a few things to a few holes to make this course a bit more challenging. Great scenery and layout.

Great little course for a quick nine holes. The grass is well kept and nicely groomed, the carts are new, the staff is friendly. I've got nothing but good things to say about this place

This is a great course. I would consider it medium difficulty. The first hole has a wicked turn that's hard to deal with if you have an early tee time and didn't hit the driving range before. When season comes back around, my wife insists we golf it at least once a month. The the sand traps aren't too hard to avoid, but I've had trouble with the water. Hole three seems easy but is also easy to screw up. Love holes 5-8

Staff is awsome...course offers good challenges..guys bring your short game and your irons...ladies enjoy a nice game

Beech Woods GC is a great place to work on your game. Straight shots are a MUST as the woods boardering the fairways are hungry for golf balls.

I haven't played hear for the last 3 years and I sorry I didn't. Beautiful wooded and peaceful place to play. Golf. Wonder go condition for a public course. I'll definitely be back soon and often.

It's not a long course,but lots of fun and very pretty.
Most greens are straight forward.

Nice course has some challenging holes that require accurate placements. Great test with your irons to make shots...

The course was extremely busy. Our tee time got pushed back by 20 minutes because of the booking between golfnow and the course. We played late into the evening so did not want to continue to wait so we left after 6 holes. I will play here again but hopefully not at such a busy time.

This relatively short, up-north-style, woodsy 9-hole course puts a premium on accuracy. Big hitters, if they're not also accurate, have no advantage here. Even the one challenging par 5 demands good drive placement, but it's worth it. This out-of-the-way beauty is part of a municipal park complex, seemingly in the middle of nowhere, but it includes a year-round driving range, tennis courts, picnic area and more. Every hole is interesting, and it's well-kept. There's nothing more relaxing than playing in the evening or early morning here among the trees . . . as long as you keep it in the fairway and bring insect repellent. A couple of trees could be trimmed back a bit, but that's part of the fun. Great for shaping shots in either direction!
