SLOW play NOT impressed !!
My first time here. It was a Tuesday morning and the pace of play was HORRIBLE !! We played Irish then Buckeye and it took us 4 HOURS to play the round for 2 people. The greens were super hard like they’ve had no water but they were green.. The course key out was good and challenging but with a starter and a ranger you’d think they’d be more organized to keep the pace of play moving. To pay 32.00 for all the hassle is not with it. VERY disappointed.
Great Course!
Course was in great condition. Pace was a little slow due to leagues being in front of us, but it was expected! Great course!
Rude worker at clubhouse
I love playing here and will continue too but I have to comment about the attitude and overall rudeness Of the older woman working the snack area of the club house . I paid for me and my dads round and forgot to grab a water and the kid who just helped me was on the phone so I looked over at the lady by the snack area and at first she just ignored me then finally came to me after I waved my card at her for a bottle of water and Pepsi for my dad. She gave me a really bad attitude for some reason and didn’t even ring me up and apparently that was because I was standing at the wrong register ? Carry my stuff over there then what the heck was wrong with her ? She made the kid do it after he got off the phone. Really irritating
Liked it a lot!
Well maintained. Everything was as you would want it at a course.
Mature course with plenty of space between the trees framing the fairways. Some holes are tightly placed together. Had to wait sometimes for players from other holes wandering into our fairway looking for their wayward shot. No beverage cart on a hot Saturday. The marshals were friendly and helped look for a ball that bounced off cart path
Nice course
Played Irish and Wolverine and the Wolverine should not have been open it was so wet
Memorial Day
Slow play due to Holiday and great weather. Course was in great shape despite exceptional recent rain.
Love the course and the layout, my only complaint is how they still put as many people on the course with a big outing about to start, and only down certain courses instead of spreading them out.
Does not honor Golf now
I golfed there today and while the course was great, the tee times were poorly managed. Purchased an open slot off golf now for 18 and a cart. Was told on the start of my second nine, I was rudely told that I was “not allowed to proceed due to an outing.” When I went into the clubhouse I was told “yeah that’s a computer error. You’re only able to replay the same nine we mistakenly started you on.” Was told I was unable to get a refund due to me paying on golf now.
Rained out
Course in decent shape. Booked through GolfNow.com and course wouldn’t issue rain check for that reason. Played Irish first early. Hard to score. Many trees, even in line with green. Started Wolverine before rainout. Much more open and forgiving.
Rough to long.
Rough to long. Average golfer not a pro. My grandson and myself spent the round looking for our golf balls. Tight fairways. Would not play agin.
Couples Golf
Nice golfing outing for my wife and I. Weather course perfect. Staff very professional, easy check in. Great to see our close friend Tom Lewandowski.
Nice Peaceful course
I'm an intermediate golfer at best. Breaking 100 is a good day for me, and I scored a 96. Well kept course that had some character, but not ragingly difficult. Little to no sand on Wolverine and the Water on Irish was not challenging. The traps were kept beautiful, and the greens were in good condition. Extremely polite staff and the golfers we encountered were about my skill level. That being said, I'm sure serious golfers play here, we just didn't see any. The golfers we did see were pleasant and respectful.
4.5 star?
I had a high expectation from the course as it was posted as 4.5 star level course. I drove 45 minutes to play there. The truth is that this is not a 4.5 star level course by any standard. Whoever has the authority of rating GCs, please compare it with other 4.5 courses in Southeastern Michigan and re-rate the course. To me, it is 3.5 at best. It is just a fine, accessible neighborhood course.
A little piece of heaven
Arrived early. They were very busy but a young man in the cart barn was able to get me a cart for my partners who could not walk so we could all enjoy the perfect weather on this normal cold February day. Thank you Bedford Hills staff for making our experience great!
Good
Pretty decent course, can get crowded
