Nice friendly course.
I’ve played this course a few times now and it never disappoints me. It’s a nice short course that has a few surprising holes.
Not a Country Club
Definitely not a county club, more like back country golf. It's early in the season so maybe it'll be better in the summer but the course conditions were terrible. Tee boxes were a mess and broken branches everywhere on the course.
Amazing course.
I play this course every time I am out in the vassar area and it’s one of my top three courses that I love to play. Course is good for beginners or people who have been playing for years. Few tough holes but easy to make up a bad shot due to the amazing conditions and open space so it’s hard to lose a ball. Will recommend this course to any and everyone
Excellent Course
I went to play Vassar on a spur of the moment decision because I couldn’t find a course suitable for my brother-in-law who is a brand new golfer. This course does not take tee times so it worked perfectly for walk-ons. The pace was legitimately 2hrs or less, as advertised, and was a very enjoyable experience. The staff was excellent and the fees ($21 with cart for 9 holes) was totally worth it.
The fairways were ok, lots of dirt and less grass, but the greens were excellent and the course played well. It’s a beginner/intermediate course and well worth the drive.
An excellent course for a golf outing. Great experience.
Decent course
Good course to get in some swings while vacationing.Fairways ok. Roughs run high lots of dandelions. Tough to find your ball. Greens were very nice and fast. Lots of trees plan to lose some balls if your a beginner.

"Rough" Day
Course in decent shape for the weather we've had last few days. Not sure about the fairways, I only found 2 of them today. Rough day day for me, but overall course in pretty good shape. One to a cart, but to be expected.
This course is fun to play....almost anytime of the week!
Vassar Golf and Country Club is a great place to have an outing and just to have a great time playing golf. There are a few holes where the tees need some work and I am referring to the gold tees, but nothing a regular golfer couldn't handle. If you enjoy golfing for fun then this is the place to go!
The staff is a tremendous if you need help with your game or anything else you may need...they are there to help you.
