Great when conditions are dry
Course was great but due to the low lying locatioin of the course - it could get very wet, very quickly so I would suggest making sure the weather did not include rain before playing as this would impact the course conditions. We played with not too much rain before hand and course is very nice, very fair and overall condition excellent. This was previously a private course that went public some time ago so you can still tell that. Greens are ver nice and average speed, Tees and fairways are very nice. Pace of play was 4 1/2 hours so not bad for a foursome. Worth the money for sure but watch that weather before playing.

Decent course but tee times are too close
It was a Saturday so it is bound to be booked but the 9 minutes in between tee times is not enough for this course. There’s a lot of tough shots and average golfers would have a tough time. We had a foursome and every hole was about a 15-20 minute wait. Approaching each hole there was a foursome in front of us as well as a twosome. If there is a slow group the ranger should be out there helping them to keep pace. It took 3 hours to play 9 holes and couldn’t finish cause we had work and was not expecting a 6 hour round.

League slowness and overall quality
Like any course around the area, there are leagues, but the first 4 holes took us almost 2.5 hours behind league play that had a 5+ person group. They would park around the greens, analyze every putt like it's for the green jacket - but.... I could tell the comradery of the group is great as they were in the parking lot until 9:45p partying it up on a Wednesday night.
Overall quality - great course, love the layout, the quality of the fairway and the greens are excellent for the price. Starter was excellent and the staff inside was younger, but took care of business. Keep it up.

The rough makes this interesting and fun course near impossible to play! It’s a great track but be prepared for a much higher than usual score! It’s still a humbling course!

Excellent Course
I would imagine that the course stays pretty damp due to the high water levels but overall I really enjoyed it.
I recall 1 of the tee boxes needing to be addressed but everything else was solid. Certainly would play this course again.

Bay pointe is always a fun track. It was a little wet out, but the course was in great condition.

Not worth playing
Almost all tee boxes are trashed. Haven’t been moved in a month. Some of the fairways are still in decent shape. Pin placements were rather terrible. The starter was not managing the first tee but instead on the range hitting balls. Place looks like a 12 year old is in charge. Too many other options in the area to return there.

Starter does a great job. We teed off right on our tee time. Course was in great condition. Real nice course layout. No tricked-up holes. Greens were in outstanding shape. Pins work well with rangefinders. Will definitely play another Hot Deal round here.
