Brentwood Golf & Banquet Center in White Lake is conveniently less than an hour from downtown Detroit. The 18-hole layout has two distinctly different designs. The front nine is a wooded trail design with homes lining the fairways while the back nine has a more open, classic Scottish-links layout with fewer trees. There are nearly 40 bunkers situated along the greens and fairways and a variety of marshes, wetlands, and ponds come into play on 13 holes. To make the golf course even more challenging, the strategically placed mounding provides a number of tricky uneven lies from all angles and on nearly every hole. Brentwood's par-5 16th is a particularly memorable hole, featuring a grass hill that is directly in front of the green, almost completely blocking the view of the putting surface on the approach.

Long paths for walkers, good value for a hot deal
I went with a hot deal under $30 and got done with 18 in 2 hours 35 minutes as a single on a Friday around 1:30pm. For those circumstances I’d recommend it.
I noticed there were some… questionable logistics for the cart path from hole to hole where I’d have to imagine a walker would find it a bit tedious.
From Sweden and trying to play as many courses as my wife allows me during vacation. Fareways could be better but the greens was really good. Not many people playing so finished my round in 2,5 h. Well worth the money!
Just OK
A decent course if you get a discount, I wouldn’t pay more than $50. The tee boxes and cart paths need serious repair and there were areas in the fairway that need work as well.
Don’t allow riders or walkers and have apparently never heard of the concept
Arrived and asked to pay for a rider and they said they never have allowed that and seemed to have no idea of the concept. Mind you this was a 12 on a random Tuesday course was completely quiet.
Course was very short, fairways were not short, the grass seemed to be rolled down.
Poor experience given the rider experience and no indication of this anywhere on golf now or on their site
Packed with too many people. The cart path needs serious repair
Bad layout, poor conditions, horrid pace of play
The course’s layout is clearly damaged by the way it winds through the housing development. Nearly all the holes on the front nine require an iron off the tee. Part 4s are unimaginative and part 3s depressingly straightforward.
Fairway grass was twice as long as at a normal course. There was often zero difference between the fringe, and the actual green. Rough was inconsistent and patchy in spots. Standing water and maintenance tire tracks abound.
Pace of play was over 3 hours on the front and 3 hours on the back. This course features multiple blinds tee shots as a result eight minute tee times are an actual danger to the players’ health.

I couldn’t make it due to an emergency I also couldn’t cancel either they said it was too late hopefully I will next time.
Excellent of course .
I like the field and green is fast which I like, but difficult to play, need a more challenging
