Pines Golf Course, The

About
The Pines Golf Club sits just a few minutes south of Grand Rapids in Wyoming. The 18-hole layout is routed through stands of mature trees. The terrain is mostly flat, which makes it a great golf course to walk, but there are a few subtle contours throughout that can be tricky. It's a straightforward course that is player friendly enough for even beginners to approach with confidence. There are a few slight doglegs but nothing too formidable. There is only one water hazard that comes into play, but it still manages to add a lot of character. The views spanning across Lake Isabella are almost enough of a reason to play the golf course. The Pines' 15th hole has an especially memorable view of the lake. Another benefit of the golf course is that it provides a more affordable round than other Mt. Pleasant-area courses.

Great intermediate course
Staff is awesome
Well maintained
Fix the cart paths
Good battle golf. Look out for incoming shots, and also try to find a decent cart.
Good value
Course was great for the price! More challenging than anticipated for a sub $50 round
Fivesome of rappers bros, staff afraid to split up. Slowing dow the whole course. Smoking weed
Well, it was a beautiful Friday good Friday, March 29, 2024 and this was by far the cheapest course we could fine with me my wife and my buddy $60 for three of us with a cart so I really didn’t want to come here, but everybody else was almost double the price. They were supposed to close the course down and build condos or something but that has not happened yet so they are still open. The biggest problem with this course is the layout balls are coming at you from every other hole just a real cluster mess up almost getting hit carts coming at you. It’s just a terrible situation . The back nine not so bad it’s a little bit separated but the front line is awful.
The biggest problem as of the day was we could tell when we just arrived a group of five are cheating off the brothers were playing the rap music by the third third fourth hole we already smell the weed And we contacted the clubhouse and they said they would separate them at the turn. Actually we already saw them when we were just teeing off and said something and they did not do anything about it so that’s the biggest frustration. Apparently there was words at the turn, and they never ended up separating. I guess the guys in the clubhouse were afraid to Demand being they own the place that the brothers would separate I’m sorry what part of no five sums do you not understand. Needless to say that was the problem of the day. The weather was fantastic courses in OK shape but we played my wife and I the day before at the mines , and that is twice the course of court of course just a totally different course. More modern updated fantastic shape. Yes the price was $35 each instead of 20 each so you get what you pay for. I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon.
Course was in good shape. Leaves were picked up and not a problem..Greens were arriated but putted pretty well for all the sand on them.
