Good beginner course, fun without being penal
Was playing with two daughters who were out for the first time this year. They had a good time and didn't feel harassed by the other golfers (we let one single play through).
The "Map it" button brings you to the wrong place though. If you don't know where the course is, use the address and not the "Map it".
pretty good
speed up the greens
watch out for people hitting into you from adjacent fairways
much better than a day at work
great golf course
good hole design, great course good course for any skill level
lots of full grown trees, course in very good shape
Best day for golf weather wise, no houses on course the way it should be, course well kept condition, full grown trees that my partner was playing in all day, one of my best days out on a course all around. Loved it.
Great course made even better with updates
Greenhaven was always a great place to play, well maintained, friendly people and a challenging layout. It has only gotten better since they re-did #18 adding a water feature in. What a fantastic closing hole!
Good mix of water, sand and length.
Good mix of water, sand and length which required using most of the clubs in your bag. Both doglegs left and right. Short rough grass and good chance to find your wayward ball in the sparse trees.
Great Value
Great value-course was well maintained and greens were smooth ( spotty on some tough to maintain greens) Pace of play was good but we just teed off after a shotgun finished so it was hard to judge. Staff was great and overall a fun course to play
2nd and third cuts need work
Hard to find your ball when just off the fairway. I suggest staying on the fairway, they were nice even after all the storms.
Course in decent shape but needs improvement in 2 areas
This course has no driving range and a single stall net in a recess between 2 buildings where you use your own balls to loosen up. There was no ranger or starter on hand for a June Friday. That caused slow ups with 3 two somes mixed in between two foursomes.
Very slow play, No rangers or starter
No ranger or starter on a friday afternoon. Day was very busy,
Management should of been pairing up twosomes, tee times were every 7 mins. 5 hour round. very slow play due to a few twosomes that got behind the foursome ahead of them. In need of a ranger to speed up there play or pick up there balls and move on.
Some greens need attention
Nice course with design that helps ensure a nice pace of play.
Worth playing
First time we have played Green Haven, had a warm welcome, course was great and we will be palying here again next year.
Friendly, playable course
Greenhaven is a very golfer-friendly course. There is enough "trouble" to keep your attention - but it is not an overwhelming course. Overall, it is a very fun and enjoyable course. It is typically well-maintained. It's had some issues coming through the winter - but this is not uncommon in MN.
Nice, reasonable course.
Played May 8th, course in nice shape for early May. Every thing on time, staff very cordial and on top of things. good course for seniors. Lots of walkers here.
Not too bad for early season
Played at 2:00 PM on a Sundayand the pace of play was not bad. The course is a little rough shape but not unexpected with the way the srping was. The greens seem to be worse than the fairways but certainly not playable. They have electric carts with distance no frill GPS that show yardage to the green and also hazards which is nice. Course is not too difficult but does have one dumb hole #4 which circles a pond...
The course can get crowded so don't expect a real quick round.. Also there is some construction nearby and the parking lot is a bit tore up right now
