Great value
A tight but fair course. Fun, interesting holes. It was in great shape. Very friendly staff. Definitely going back.
Great time! Great price!
Great course, not beat up too bad for late in the year. Some fun tricky holes. Would 100% come back.
Well Maintained
It's a tough course with lots of ways to lose your ball, but that makes the good shots feel better. The course looks great though.
Find a different place to play
Be prepared to share a cart if you're a single player. Who on earth wants to share a cart with a fellow who is drinking alcohol and shooting 130?
I paid for 18 holes and a cart, NOT 18 HOLES AND A SEAT!!
Been going there 25 years and all of a sudden they force me into a cart with a complete stranger. I was told I had to pay extra for a solo cart. I got a refund and left the course. So much for trying to squeeze patrons out of another $20. What a joke, just another example of AMERICAN GREED!! We patrons provide you with a paycheck, best you remember that.
BYE CHOMNIX
One of our favorite courses
Beautiful lush course. Nice mix of high ground and lowlands marshes etc.. not too tough not too easy Nice. Now if we could just fix my game it would be perfect!
Easy to get on - perfect quick rd
You can always find a tee time at a fair price. Many time below $40 w cart. Pace of place is great, and course has been in good condition this summer, it did get soaked recently, but wasn’t as wet as oak marsh.
When it comes to quick rd, Chomonix is right up there with the refuge. It may not be as challenging but it’s exactly what ur looking for after work or weekend evening.
I play it over manitou, Keller, magestic, loggers, ponds etc. maybe Goodrich… but only cuz Goodrich gets so busy/slow.
It’s also so close to everything, had no idea it was only 7 miles away. For a quick rd, give it a shot, bet u go back. It’s a refreshing change of pace compared to the crowed city courses. No pun intended. 😉
Find another place to play...
If you're a single be prepared to "share" a cart. Absolutely atrocious policy to place on the patrons that provide you with a payroll. No one wants to share a cart with a drunk golfer shooting 130. It will take a lawsuit for someone to wake up and see this is ridiculous. Driving range is never open. Been golfing here since the 90's and never once have I been forced to share a cart. I was third off the tee in the am and they have several dozen carts just sitting there, attendant said I had to pay for a solo cart. Nope, got a refund and left. So much for squeezing money out the patrons. Now they lost all the money due to their attitude towards single players. Bye Chomnix, you used to be worth it..
