Chomonix is our new go-to!
Yesterday, my son and I had the pleasure of golfing at Chomonix Golf Course in Lino Lakes, and I couldn’t wait to share our fantastic experience! We found a great deal on the Golf Now app and booked 9 holes at the end of the day.
From the moment we arrived, we were met with friendly and helpful staff who made us feel welcome. The course itself was in impeccable shape, showcasing well-maintained fairways and greens. The layout was both challenging and enjoyable, perfect for golfers of all skill levels.
Our twilight round was peaceful and scenic, with beautiful views that made the experience even more memorable. If you’re looking for a top-notch golfing experience, I highly recommend Chomonix Golf Course. We’ll definitely be back!
If your single forget about it
Course and greens were excellent. The clubhouse and staff was a dumpster fire. I had a tee time and a Foursome was allowed to play with a foursome behind them. There was foursome on the green on the 1st green. I went back to the clubhouse to clarify how to resolve the issue. I was ask to play as a single through 5 four man groups. All of which were 'p'issed off. I played the front 9 in 1 hour with 'p'issed off groups heckling in my backswing on the tee box. WILL NOT BE BACK. For the price I will play at St. Croix National. When I voiced my thoughts at the clubhouse after the round, the local kids they employee seemed to have no regards to the situation, nor offered any remedy. Unless your a local SKIP this course.
Nice layout. Fairways and greens in good shape. Course took in a lot of water from heavy rains, made playing not as enjoyable as could have been. Would definitely come back.

Great Day of golf...but a bit slow pace.
nice course, challenging but fun and nature filled. We enjoyed the day. Great staff, friendly and helpful.
A good day off
A nice course to sneak out of Minneapolis and go enjoy a quiet country public course.
Course was tough, you have to be able to shot shape to be able to score low. Saw a lot of wildlife and course was in good condition for April.
Chomonix is in good shape
Love the layout and lack of metro area noise. Pace was good and the staff was friendly and professional. We had a great time on a Sunday afternoon.
Chomonix was great
Course conditions excellent, staff friendly and helpful, pace of play was wonderful for a Sunday afternoon.
Excellent condition.
Everything was in excellent condition. Price is fair.
In great condition
I have golfed this course for decades and I have never seen it in better condition than it was yesterday.
Highly recommended
My experience at Chamonix couldn’t have been better! The course is cut out of wetlands and is extremely playable. The staff is friendly and the course is in great shape!
Over priced course could be better with a little effort
Make you pay premium price for the most average public course in the United States. With little effort this course could be solid, but you will run into poorly manicured greens and tee boxes with long grass almost every time. Also lost a club on 18 and called them right when I got home and they said they had it. Came back 2 days later and it disappeared. Every time I golf here I regret giving my money to this place
