awesome sauce
I could play this course everyday for the great layout and course condition. You use every club in your bag and have a good variety of challenge along with fairness. I cannot wait to play it again and again.
Pleasantly surprised.
Great value. Course was in great shape and I liked the layout. Didn't play well and still had a great time ha ha
Milham Park Golf
The course was in excellent shape. Pace of golf was quick, greens ran true and tee boxes were acceptable. This is a great course to practice on. Balls can be lost if you over shoot greens or miss shots to fairways. Course is fairly wide open.
Winter golf in Michigan
We had a February thaw and the temps rose to the low 60's (love this global warming) so my son and I decided to play a round. Course was in incredible shape considering it is still winter here. Pace of play was glacial....5 hours to play 18 but the pro shop tried to work everyone in by alternating back nine and front nine starts. Really nice to have a course that is central to Kalamazoo.
fast greens
Nice course fast greens well maintained for fall gokf
The best 18 hole, public track in Southwest Michigan.
I always love playing at Milham Park GC. When I first moved to the area 25 years ago, I though it was the local Country Club course. When I found out it was a public course, that I could join as a member, for $350.00 for the season, (Prices back then!!!)I thought it was a joke....Coming from California's prices and public tracks, this was golf Heaven. Treat yourself to a great round of golf, at a reasonable price, when you come to visit Kalamazoo.
Very Poor Pace of Play
I liked all aspects of the course except the pace of play. The greens had some speed to them and the overall layout of the course was good for the length. They have a good practice facility and pro shop. The entire staff was helpful and pleasant. My round took 5 hours 15 minutes. During that 5 hours and 15 minutes I did not see one ranger to speed things up or see what was going on. The course seems to draw a lot of inexperienced players. The starter sends them off and that's the end of the courses responsibility.
Great Public Course
Milham Park is a joy to play. I played from the yellow tees but I think from the blue tees the course would be a good challenge for a low handicap golfer. The course and greens were well maintained.
I paired up with a member, who was also a single and we had a great time playing together .

What a great review! Thank you so much for your great feedback, and come see us again soon!
Spring Fun
Nice layout, fun to play. Condition of the course could use a little more attention.

We've been working hard the past few months to make the course even better -- we hope you'll stop by soon to see the improvements! We're glad to hear you had a fun round, thanks for the feedback!
Good Value, Poor Staff
Milham is in great shape for March in Michigan! Enjoyed my first round of the year out there this past week. However, same story of mean old guy(s) at the counter who treat you poorly when they see you booked through an online site. Every time like clock work. Good bang for your buck course though through GolfNow.
Slow
Don't come here if you are trying to play 18 in under 5 hours. Old ppl refuse to let you play through. Played 9 in 2 and a half hours. Course is ok for a city course. Prices are to high for the quality.
Milham Park GC
Weather is obviously key this time of year for course conditions..a lot of places are in decent shape right now and Milham Park also has their place in very solid order. The greens here are in incredible shape right now. Driving range is sufficient; definitely an old school feel in some corners of the course. If you play the back tees and you're driver isn't going 260+ there will be several approach shots from around 200 yards. Solid practice putting green near the clubhouse and the fairways are very playable.
Good course for all
This course has some fairly easy holes, some moderate holes, and some very challenging holes. Overall condition of course was fairly good, but playing in the fall you always have leaves to contend with.
If you play here, plan to play slow
We played a 4-some, and because it's fall, we looked under the leaves more than once for our balls. i live in Kalamazoo, but seldom play at Milham. Milham is know for slow play, and they do nothing about it. Even when they have a starter, nothing is ever said about keeping pace. Members regularly cut in on players making the turn. Even after "playing the back nine", they make no attempt at keeping pace. Seldom have I witnessed a slow group letting anyone play through. a nice place to play if you play better at a 5 hour pace.
Good layout, great deal
course was in good shape, fairways shaggy but not burnt anywhere, greens were very receptive and had great contours. Some tricky putts out here! Unfortunately we played on errified greens, so pretty sandy, ithe others there said the greens are normally excellent so i will play again soon. Tight tee shots old muni, small target greens but they have character. Will be back!
Great course for the $$
Great course! Close to home and good price. Don't lose to many balls here.
Thanks for the feedback, and we appreciate you noting that you enjoyed the course overall. We do get golfers of all levels throughout the weekend and will experience a little longer than average rounds. We will look into your comment on the ranger -- thanks again for the feedback.
