About
Situated on the southern edge of Kalamazoo, Milham Park Golf Club borders its namesake park. This municipal course is one of the best in the city, boasting some of the best conditions of any of the area's golf courses. Originally opened as a nine-hole course in 1931, the second nine was added as a project under the Works Project Administration in 1935. The course has a traditional layout that is seemingly short by modern standards at 6,630 yards from the back tees. Don't let the yardage fool you, Milham Park offers many holes with good length. The layout is heavily bunkered and there are tall trees along the fairways. Water is nowhere to be found except for a mild hazard that edges along the fourth hole.

Excellent course on chilly day
Enjoyed the set up. Believe this course would be incredible in the summer.

Wonderful Muni Course!
One of the best municipal courses in the area - sooo much better than most of the local privately owned ‘public’ courses.

Great Muni Course
Overall great experience!
Not too hard and not super easy so it was perfect for our family of novice, intermediate, advanced golfers.

Friendly staff
Some slower groups of 4 and anxious pairs making for a little more stressful pace of play, but otherwise a fun time.
Excellent time with my son
As a last minute on my birthday we decided to grab the last tee time at milham. Course was amazing and the staff was more than accommodating.

Course layout and maintenence are great. Greens were maintained but the rough was a little long for my liking last round. A couple holes were challenging because they had moving sprinklers blasting...... which seems to happen every time I play here and makes a least one hole unpleasant. The pace of play is usually reasonable here and on par with other nearby courses. This seems hit or miss though. The practice areas (putting and chipping) are probably the best around. The course is above average in comparison to other local courses but also costs above average too.
