About
Situated on the southern edge of Kalamazoo, Milham Park Golf Club borders its namesake park. This municipal course is one of the best in the city, boasting some of the best conditions of any of the area's golf courses. Originally opened as a nine-hole course in 1931, the second nine was added as a project under the Works Project Administration in 1935. The course has a traditional layout that is seemingly short by modern standards at 6,630 yards from the back tees. Don't let the yardage fool you, Milham Park offers many holes with good length. The layout is heavily bunkered and there are tall trees along the fairways. Water is nowhere to be found except for a mild hazard that edges along the fourth hole.

Golf at Milham
Have played here before. It's convenient and course is good. Too many golfers on the course. Play can be slow. They let people go off the back nine sometimes which can impact players making the turn.
Wonderful course in Portage
Great conditions, a bit challenging, great weather made for the best day out
On Par with the best
Top tier municipal course. Currently some irrigation work as well as storm repair going on. Besides that the course is in excellent condition. Clubhouse and staff are great.
Milham Park GC - Storm Damaged
Played this course approx. A month after a mild tornado went through the area. Trees down on almost every hole with tree crews cutting, chipping and hauling the debris. The course is a mess, other than the greens. Wait a while before playing this course
Disappointed
The course was rock hard and dried out. Workers had holes dug all over so maybe the irrigation was broken. When we made the turn several groups were just ahead of us that had started on #10 who had not played the front nine. The second group in front of us were playing extremly slow and were not allowing anyone to play through. Apparently the ranger must of went home for the day. I play almost every course in this area and will not go back to Milham!
Good time
Me and wife had a good time course was great shape greens were fast and the fairways were nice and flush. It’s a must play if you are looking for a round. This course give you a risk and reward holes but there some holes you have to be able to move ball around left to right. I always love playing here I hope you get chance to check it out as well.
