Grounds crew has jokes
Played on july second. Some of the pin locations man. The grounds crew had jokes that day. From pin lower tiers next to bunkers
Really fun course
Really fun course. The golf cart was a real junker but everything was nice greens I give a 8/10.
One if my favorites.
Rum River is a nice golf course. It has some challenging holes and that are very playable. I play here multiple times every season.
Great value
Paid $28 for 18 and a cart and had a great time playing this course. I heard complaints about pace of play but had an early tee time by myself and got through 18 in under 2 hours. Definitely would do drive out there again!
Rum River Golf Unique
A challenge for all golfers. Plenty of water, some pretty tight fairways and a dog leg 18th. hole, putting surfaces are average.
Not going back
Last time I’ll be going there. They were very busy so maybe that played a factor in my experience. Staff was definitely not friendly, and golf carts are in bad shape. Still had fun because a bad day on the golf course beats a good day at work every time!
Good Course for $$
This course is good for your the value. They also have a very friendly restaurant and bar as well for a great value.
The only issue I had was they allowed a group of 7 seniors play and the group of 4 was just horrible . They held up the other groups all day and the club house didn’t do anything cause they were seniors as well.
Nice round of golf despite wet conditions
Enjoyed the round on a nice day after torrential rain the previous day left a lot of water on the course.
Made mistake
I was trying to book a next day special for Tuesday. I accidentally booked same day.when I showed up Tuesday they obviously had no reservation. Can't get refunded from gof now. Review is more a reflection on golf now
Super Slow
Crazy, mind numbingly, ridiculously, slower than slow. Two Fivesomes ahead of us, and I saw a sixsome while I was waiting on every tee box. No ranger. Not much of a Hot Deal. After completing eleven holes in four hours(!) I gave up and asked for a rain check since they were clearly over booked or have no real rules about group play. The crabby guy said we don't do that. Clearly you don't regulate play either I guess, crabby guy. I like the course but this was a terrible waste of time and money. If they made even a small effort to mitigate the issue it would have helped, but they don't do that. Ok, I wont spend my money there. The Bar and Waitstaff were excellent. Too bad a golf course cant be bothered to regulate golf.
