Bait and switch
We played here because we found a great price we thought. It was an hour away from my house and arrived to find out that the price I booked for was not the price. Apparently there was an error on the website. I understand this can happen. However my group was apparently the 5th that they had seen this happen to. In my opinion you either honor the rate or at least call or email to let me know the price was an error. When we arrived we were informed that we had to pay full price. We did since we already drove an hour. The course was ok. Not worth what they are asking for. The sand traps were water hazards. Greens had a ton of pitch marks apparently no one fixes their pitch marks. Overall I don’t think I would play here again especially at greens fees they request. So many courses at that price point that are a better layout and in better condition.
Bait and switch
Booked a tee time here at what I will say was a great price. Got to the course an hour away and was told the price was an error and we would have to pay full price. I would accept this if they used my contact information that they had to call email or text me that the price was an error. They knew about it when I arrived and said I was the 5th group that had this issue. I ended up paying the regular rate since I had drove an hour. The course was ok. Fairways were long greens were slow and bunkers were full of water. I know we have had some rain but this should be addressed. Probably a play once and definitely not paying regular green fees again.
Great Layout
Loved the layout, rolling terrain and views of lake on back 9. Funnier course that’s a must play if in the area.
okay course for the money
Honestly, the course seems like it could be a decent and fun course in general, if you catch it the right time of year. We played in mid September and the course was pretty dry and not in great shape. Quite a few pitch shots were on hard pan, or on extremely tight lies. Throw in the fact they just punched the greens didn't help either. The clubhouse looked like they were already done for the season and were puting stuff away and was pretty messy. Fairly small greens would make it tough to score, especially putting on a plinko board.

Great shape! You use every club in your bag . Jason , Dave and the staff are the best!!! Always love the great food in the clubhouse!!
Decent Course, but not set up for first time players
Overall Shoreland is a decent course that is fairly well kept up. It doesn't have any hold markers at the tee box, so I was constantly referring to my score card to check for yardages and the map to see where the next hole was.
