New Prague Golf Club

This was my first time playing at New Prague Golf Course and I was pleasantly surprised. The tee boxes, fairways and greens were in excellent condition. The course is challenging but not overly so. The staff were fun and courteous, and the course is quite walkable. I look forward to getting a few more rounds in at NPGC.

It was slow pace of play, but it was a Saturday afternoon so as to be expected. Great in all other aspects

I’ve been playing golf for over 25 years. I have never, ever had 5 groups waiting at one hole. Took just over 3 hours to play 9 holes. First time and last time at this course. Wish I could say something positive about the experience here.

We had a very nice round , with great conditions and very good value. Will play there again.

Slow play, course let 5 somes out on a Sunday. Clubhouse had no food ready at the turn.

Most fairways heavily bordered by trees but wide enough to be somewhat forgiving. If you tend to be wild off the tee box, you will struggle. Greens in great shape and receptive after recent rains. Beautiful old course in a very friendly small town environment. Nothing not to like.

The greens rolled very well, but are challenging as most are somewhat domed and not very large. This is an old style tree lined fairway golf course. Fairways were on the long side because of the wet conditions and not getting mowed, but overall were OK. Bunker sand was somewhat thin in spots. Decent course for the price and very helpful staff.

I like the club head (irons) washers at the holes. The only problem is that the water is usually dirty and can smell terrible. Maybe add some chlorine or change the dirty water more frequently. Otherwise, this has become my favorite place to play.

Weeds/ dandelions everywhere. Bunkers not manicured at all. Tee boxes were horrible. It was much better last year. Need to get someone on this!,
