Nice little course
It was good for what we were looking for. Nice layout without being overly challenging.
Rush Hour
Granted there was a tournament, but we felt rushed the entire 9holes! Why accept tee times when you are only going to rush the golfers? The course martial watched us like a hawk to make sure we are playing above the pace of play. Overall, course conditions are exceptional for the price.
Management is Working on the course
Course had just been aerated and reseeded so there were many spots where grass was not in good shape but should be better next Spring. Lost a lot of balls due to the leaves but then again it is October and leaves fall
Worst staff in golf
Course was great staff on the other hand. Zero educate. For example we had one ball on the green and the greens keeper started moving the hole when we still had two to get on. Another time we had a ball on the front of a green and the crew drove over the ball while drying the greens. We were then confronted by another staff member saying we have attitude to someone for being told to fix divots, which that never happened and we live by the rule fix your divot and if you don’t have one fix another one. We were demanded to be off the course without even having a conversation with us. The only staff we talked to was the guy yelling at us to go. While we were exiting the staff hit the rear of our cart with his then walked away smiling. It’s really too bad because the course was nice and fun but I will never go back. After nearly 10 years of playing(2 year break in there) I have never been treated or talked to like that on a course.
Awesome staff
This is the first time me playing this course. They are redoing the course so expect a few rough spots. The staff is above top-notch. I cannot recommend this course enough just on the staff alone. I don’t normally normally go to the clubhouse afterwards but we did today and it was well we spent 4 1/2 hours in the clubhouse alone. Super nice staff the course is being redone be patient but definitely a hard course to play but rewarding play irons stay away from words for the most part.
Good 9 hole course
First time playing here. Course has potential to be nicer. Overall we had fun.
Great day, great greens
The greens are in great shape. They put a lot of blood, sweat and tears in this place. My favorite course.
Tough 9 hole track that falls short of the others in the area
It can be a tough course. Very condensed. It definitely takes accuracy to score well.
One yard off in the wrong direction could mean multiple extra strokes. Very very slow greens. Usually the practice green can throw you off before a round, but the one there is very accurate.
A few negatives:
The fairway is furry & seemed to be recently punched. Which makes lies a total roll of the dice.
The Tee Boxes are completely non existent right now. I guess they are redoing them. Which results on teeing off in the rough on most holes and it probably knocks off another 120 yards off the already short 9-holes.
It’s doable. I would probably place it in between Creve couer & St. Ann
