Nice track
Brought a couple friends from St Louis where I grew up, this course is somewhat similar to the one I work at in Memphis. Good pace of play, think you'll enjoy it. We'll be back when in the area.
The course is in great shape, especially the greens. Played late afternoon, and the groups were courteous and pace was excellent, as played 18 in less than 3 hours.
Easiest of the two city courses
Over the past several years, the powers-that-be have continued to make this course easier to play. So what you have is a nice, straightforward course that doesn't eat every ball you brought to the course. It's a beautiful setting, nice clubhouse, good carts, and decent conditions. My only gripe is that players are not fixing their ball marks on the greens. I don't know how the course fixes that, but it's an issue.
Horrible pace
I have a job that requires me to be on call, wanted a raincheck for 9 holes because only got to play 7 holes in 2 hrs.
Very nice course
Course well maintained, greens could be a little smoother.
Fun course to play
I lived in Columbia years back for 4 years while attending Mizzou yet never made it out here to play but sure wish I would have. Late golf season and even after 2 previous days of consistent rain the course was in good shape. Oddly though this is the only golf course I've ever played where every single cup was at least half full of water, weird how they didn't drain out. Didn't have any effect on my review but an odd thing to see but was an ongoing joke throughout the round. Only downside was at the turn - I played on a Saturday - we went to get food and they only had 5 hotdogs available with no effort to make more. I'm glad we were able to get at least the last few scraps of inventory they had. Overall was a fun course and though it's a pretty wide open course it was still challenging for an above average player. I'd return for future rounds for sure.
