Enjoyable and challenging golf course
Really enjoyed a re-visit to Eagle Knoll Golf club. The clubhouse was being upgraded and still offered great service in the midst of construction. Course is in great condition and provides some fun putting and driving challenges. This is a great place to enjoy a round of golf.
Eagle Knoll is my favorite course! I would recommend to everyone! Staff is very friendly and accommodating!
No Rain Check
The course was nice as always but it rained us out on the fifth hole. The course said I need to get a rain check from Golf Now but they don’t make it easy to get a rain check using the app. After an hour of trying I gave up. $68 for 5 holes. What a deal!! I’ll think twice about using Golf Now to book my tee times in the future.
I’m new here and this is my favorite public course in central Missouri so far. Really fun layout with elevation changes. Position off the tee is important. Decisions to make off every tee box. Greens were in great shape. Overall really loved this course and the fun choices you have.
rock hard tees rough was terrible pace of play was bad there was a amature tournament going on when i checked in never told me at check in so angry with this course play
Course is a challenge, but welcomed
Lots of rain lately but course drains extremely well with the elevations. Fairways & greens in great shape. Get out of the fairway and you’re in trouble
I hadn’t been to this course for the past 3-4 years. It was in fair shape for this time of year, we saw plenty of activity from grounds crew ( took that as a good sign) and improvements were being done inside the clubhouse. Had a decent round for first time out this year. It appears to be in better shape than years past and I look forward to going again later in the season and see what improvements have occurred. Overall a good experience.
The greens were coming into shape and fairways were good. The areas around the green were pretty sketchy. The bunkers were atrocious. Just an okay experience for the money.
Awesome course lay out
I’ve golfed at eagle knoll a handful of times in the last 5 years. The course layout is great seeing lots of different variety. The greens were more beat up than normal. The absolute worst part is the new carts. If you veer off the cart path even alittle bit your cart beeps like crazy and then shuts off. Sometimes this even happened while on the cart paths. We took several shots where are parked on the cart path carts were beeping. It made the whole experience less enjoyable. We all agreed we would play eagle knoll more often if it wasn’t for these carts.
Nice course. Challenging course, lots of elevation changes. “Shot makers” course. I recommend. Clubhouse is going through a remodeling, looks like its going to be nice. I’ll play again if back in the area.
Challenge at Eagle Knoll
I had heard about Eagle Knoll through a friend and he said it was a course well worth playing. So I saw an advantage to using a Golfnow discount and played last Friday. There was a considerable amount of people there but the pace was still good. The course was in excellent shape and with a slope of 130, you know that there's a hill of some sort on every hole. The carts are GPS equipped. You'll love playing this course, despite your score!
To bad, this course could be an amazing treat, but unfortunately there is absolutely no maintenance done and course is in really bad shape.
Best public course in mid Missouri
Eagle Knoll is often windy but on a good day is the best golf in the area. Layout goes with the terrain. Course and greens are often in good shape as they aerate regularly.
