Great course for a reasonable price
It was very hot and humid, but was still a great experience.
Riverside
The course was overbooked. We had 4 foursomes stacked up on the third hole. Waited on every hole.
Awful pace of play and course
Pace of play was trash, the starter had no idea what was going on. Sending people walking in front of our 2 some. Absolute trash could have hired a 10 year old to do a better job. Course was so mid too, paid 42 shalakas for 18 which is bonkers in itself. and left after 9 holes because it was 3 hours time overall. ALSO this place is a war zone the course is designed so poorly that you have people hitting balls at you from every which direction. Truly a place someone will get smoked some day. So overall don’t ever go to this course absolute worst one in stl
Decent greens on a low-key course
Hadn’t played the course in a long time and it likely will be a while before I go back. The two workers I came across were super friendly. The greens were surprisingly in good shape. They were shaggy and rolled quite slowly. However, many had goose droppings on them which was nasty and gross.
Unfortunately, the rest of the course isn’t any good. The tee boxes were either bare or overrun with clovers. Fairways were splotchy and difficult to tell where they ended and where the rough started. The bunkers were either completely barren or had tons of water collected in them.
Lastly, the golf carts seemed like they had been replaced in the last few years and the one I had drove smoothly. If you know that it is a low-key course in not great shape, you won’t be disappointed for $34.
First time buy myself
Had a great time. The worst of it was the windy day. But the course was good just a lot of debris from the bad storms from the past week. They were doing a great job of cleaning it up! Staff was great!!
Sloooow
The course is in nice shape. Tee boxes are sloppy with trash and on a Sunday afternoon the group ahead of us played extremely slow no help from anyone at the course. The last 4 holes took 33 minutes. I know it’s not the staffs fault but the definitely need someone there to speed up the slow groups.
Good bang for your buck
You can’t beat the price for 18 holes. Sometimes the pace of play is a little slow and they don’t allow or like to let people play through and the fairways can be a little high other than that nice layout, friendly staff I would definitely come back again.
You get what you pay for
The condition of the course is atrocious, tee boxes are nonexistent, hardly any grass to hit off of from areas, no Marshall to keep pace at bay, nor prevent random people jumping holes, but you can’t complain for $40 a round I guess.
