Good to better course! Hills are tedious and create several blind shots! Overall challenging and fun

Found this course on golf now, great price. Course was dry, very straight course, sometimes confusing as to which tees to use because they seemed on top of each other. It was a very hot day, most water coolers were on the verge of empty and club house didn’t seem to have drinks or food. Glad we had enough sense to pack some water! Joey, we had a good time and that was what was important.

Easy check in! Easy to make tee times! Course was fun and challenging. It was a little muddy in places but that’s Mother Nature not the courses fault. Definitely going to be playing again.

Florissant GC has improved overall the past few years. From teeboxes to greens, the course is lush green and very playable. Even the sand bunkers have improved. For a weekday rate, playing Florissant early in the mornings are a treat. I certainly plan on playing it again during the weekdays, when you can teeoff early, play great course conditions, and finish in under 4 hours without waiting. Hidden gem in north County for sure.

Holes right next to each other so you had to watch out for other players. Very wet course even though it didn't rain the day before. Great lunch and beer prices.

This was my first time playing and I was very surprised with how nice it was. Course is in great shape. The greens were above average speed for St. Louis and rolled true. A few blind tee shots but the aiming sticks were reassuring. Even had a worker approach me on the putting green and give me some local knowledge about how to get around and was as nice as could be. I imagine this place gets overlooked for where it is but it’s one of the most surprising experiences I’ve had in awhile. If you haven’t played here yet you should give it a shot.

Overall very friendly atmosphere and good playing conditions.

Grab cart when you arrive and load your gear up first. Pro shop at top of the hill. Pro shop doesn't have much, no tees available that day and lacking some basics.

No marshall, bev cart etc. Just good ol show and play golf.

Love playing FGC. It’s well cared for, generally has some availability and the price point is perfect. When summer gets into swing things really firm up. Tee shots will run for days…but so will putts, so watch out.

Great course for the price! I would golf here again and again with these conditions!!!

Florissant is a fun and enjoyable course that I think is underrated in town. I think some of that is because the course is difficult to get to in North St. Louis. But it is a good track with interesting elevation changes.

After you park, you see a steep hill. Grab a cart and head up to the clubhouse to check in. All the times we have played there, the crew running the place is always friendly and helpful.

The first hole has a big drop from the tee to the fairway and green that is a preview of the wild elevation changes to come. The third is a LONG par-5 that has one of the tallest flagsticks I have ever seen. All the par threes have huge elevation drops from the tee to the green (13 is uphill with a blind green) and are so interesting to play. Hole 11 seems like a driveable par-4 for long hitters.

The course was in good shape. A few small spotty patches on the greens and fairways but every course around here is like that early in the summer. Plus, putts have always rolled true which was the case again.

If I could convince more of my friends to make the long trip up to north, we would play there more often! A good and entertaining course at a great rate.

Played at 1:00 on a Saturday afternoon as a single and finished in 3 hours. Pro shop staff was friendly and allowed me to tee off on.10. Greens are good and the tees and fairways were fine. This is a very good muni course and the pricing is reasonable. Played the back tees which was a good test. I look forward to playing it again soon.
