Used to be a nice course
Great course layout but course conditions deteriorated. Overgrown rough, fairways lumped and grass limited. Greens ok but super slow and hairy. Felt like the course is about ready to close.
Challenging around the greens
Enjoy the thick grass around the green’s preferably stay out of it chip too soft ball moves two feet adjust and hit it too hard and way past the flag you go I never did get it right but had a great round enjoy the conditions before everything dries up
Extra effort
I don’t play a lot but every time I play here I always notice all of the extra things they are doing to improve the course so keep it up love everything you are doing !
Thanks
Fun course
Very playable conditions I really enjoy this course
Ready for play
Had a very nice round no backups fairways were as usual loved that their was nice thick grass around the greens and the greens were in great shape but you had to watch the speed of your putts and all around the course you could see all of the extra things they have done to improve playing conditions great job !
Fairways need work
Havent played here for a while, found fairways patchy, not really taken care of. Last time I played here fairways were in much better shape, greens are in good shape. Its a nice layout, just needs some TLC.
Course was in bad shape, but still worth it for $25
I am not a great golfer so the course being in bad shape did not have much of an outcome on how I played. However, I still think it was well worth it figuring it cost $25 (including cart) to go out with some friends and play golf.
Decent shape for early March
The fairways have yet to start growing, so decent grass was hard to find at times. The greens were in good shape. The cart paths are in need of some TLC.
fairways need attention
fairways are sparse, zoysia would be a great improvement. Pace of play is almost always backed up
nice course in north county
This course is in decent condition. On a weekend it's about half price of Gateway, Pevely, or Tapawingo. The quality of golf is not much different in my opinion.
Eagle Springs is Top Notch
I used to play ES about 2 1/2 times a month when I lived in STL always loved it, moved to North Dallas last year and have spent a good amount of time play my nearby courses.. got to come back home this week and played ES twice and it’s been so amazing to be back.. taking for granted the gem we have here in the STL area! Bravo Eagle Springs
